Deep House Chill

Sensitive Golgoth’s ambient deep house cut, Aie confiance !, went right down to the bone

Life science researcher by day and electronic producer by night, Sensitive Golgoth poured just as much intellect into their latest single, Aie confiance ! as they injects into their research on how digital worlds may help humans empathise with other lifeforms.

The ambient deep house soundscape is an extension of their empirical work, which can be quantifiably noted through the blurred boundaries between the material and synthesised worlds. The groove-driven beats mellifluously cruise through the cathartically elemental atmosphere of the release that uses naturalism as a soundboard.

The transcendentally resonant bliss is a bubble that you never want to burst once the melodies get into intrinsically organic motion. Short of stepping out into nature and forest bathing, there’s no better way to connect with the universe than delving into Aie confiance !

WeAreiDyll and Olivia Ambani created a new milestone in the evolution of deep house with ‘Take a Chance’

For their latest soul-infused deep house mix, ‘Take a Chance’, WeAreiDyll, borrowed the vocal timbre from Olivia Ambani, who easily matched the vibrant tones in the soft and tropic beats.

Take a Chance is a mantra-filled dose of aural serotonin that finds a sincere way of relaying that nothing is a given, everything is a matter of chanc and when it comes to love, you may as well take those leaps of faith that can take you just as high as the vibes in this serenely incandescent single which stands testament to WeAreiDyll’s new wave of soulful house that entwines with African house music. The soul-deep high vibe track is exactly the kind of music we need on the airwaves right now.

Take a Chance is now available to stream on Soundcloud.

Cotola – Deep House tackles deep subject matter

Inspiration comes from all directions and whilst house music is probably best known for more throw away lyrics and instantly gratifying grooves, Cotola is an artist who really puts the “deep” into deep house. An instrumental which draws its inspiration from the figure of Mary Magdalene and which blends South American vibes and sensuous Afro-beat with the more usual slick urban sounds.

And that would be enough to whet the appetite of any discerning dance music lover but it gets much more interesting than this one track suggests. Taken from a suite of 7 tracks which explore more than just the interconnection of different strands of world music, woven into its music are themes such as sacred geometry,  sensuality, esoterica, balance, peace and love. Music for a whole new age? Perhaps, but it is safe to say that house music has rarely been this deep.
