Leave your inhibitions at the door for Loren’s latest EDM anthem, The Feeling ft. Jessi McDonald

The up-and-coming artist Loren’s sophomore electro-pop hit, The Feeling, featuring Jessi McDonald, is making light work of catching up to the hype of their 2022 debut single, I Want All Your Love.

Uninhibited affectionate ecstasy surges through the sensuously demure deep house instrumentals that effortlessly coalesce with the honeyed vocal lines that are tinged with tropic tranquillity.

If any new independent EDM hit can make you lose your head and heart on the dancefloor, it is The Feeling, with its addictively liberating rhythms and lyrics which prove that giving yourself completely is the only way to truly feel free. The infectiously euphoric backbeats are the only upper you will need to leave you riding on a high.

The Feeling officially released on February 3rd; check it out on SoundCloud and Spotify.

Starya went interstellar with her cosmically ethereal electro-clash hit, Jealous

Fusing the provocative electro-clash energy and snappy vocal melodies of Peaches with the demure indie cool of the Yeah, Yeah, Yeahs, the luminary art-pop songstress Starya’s latest single, Jealous, is tantalisingly interstellar. But that isn’t all; this alchemically amalgamated cocktail hybridises itself even further with elements of hip-hop, techno and dubstep, giving the bass a kick and the beats an irresistible pulse you’ll want to synergise with time and time again.

LA is known for breeding iconic artists by the applecart, but if anyone has what it takes to rock it and squeeze out new juice it is the singer-songwriter, producer, multi-instrumentalist and DJ who is making light work of transcendent aural domination. Once you’ve had your jealousy fill, stay tuned for the upcoming EP, Find The Key, set to be released in February 2023.

Jealous hit the airwaves on January 31st. It is now available to streams on all major platforms via this link.

Noise Ctrl went nuclear in their manically manicured electro-rock anthem, Please See Me

Through sirening synths, palpitatingly frenetic percussion and walls of guitars that I’m not entirely sure the biggest stadiums could contain, Noise Ctrl’s latest electro-hard rock heavy hitter, Please See Me, strips the titular vulnerability and transplants electrifying energy that is almost enough to run a power grid off.

The Columbus, Ohio trio often goes nuclear with their self-described fruity as fuck hard rock edge; it’s a means to an expressive end, and the noise they’re creating in the music industry is impossible to ignore. Allowing us to love them even more, they never take themselves too seriously, heightening the appeal in the dynamically exhilarant vocals, which know all too well how to wrap themselves around a vocal hook.

Listening to Please See Me, it was impossible to entertain anything but the maniacally manicured sonic blasts of euphoria coming at me. If any outfit can distract humanity from the beginning of the end, it’s Noise Ctrl. Now that I can’t listen to Mindless Self Indulgence with a clean conscience, I know who I will be turning to for some riotous catharsis.

Please See Me is now available to stream on Spotify.

Goshok captured the euphoria in affectionate obsession in his EDM hit, On My Mind

Capturing the euphoria in the moment where affection turns to obsession, the independent Czech songwriter, DJ and producer Goshok let the evocative floodgates open in his entrancing EDM mix, On My Mind.

Never one to pigeonhole himself under the EDM umbrella, the Dance music producer gives himself free rein to experiment and amalgamate elements from other subgenres, and that more than shows in the naturally powerful progressions in On My Mind.

The arrestingly ardent single pulls you safely through the heart-in-mouth drops and the tension-fraught build-ups that leave you in galvanised anticipation for the stylishly produced beat to drop. If you want to hear an artist at the top of their game, hit play.

On My Mind was officially released on December 9th. Check it out on Spotify and SoundCloud.

Steve Twinley – Time Has Always Been a Friend of Mine: Hear the Latest Collision in Indie Electroclash

Sunsneezer (2022 album) by Steve Twinley

Taken from his 2022 album, Sunsneezer, Steve Twinley’s standout single, Time Has Always Been a Friend of Mine, is an indie electroclash earworm awash with 90s nostalgia. With a beat that pulsates with the same ferocity of Emerge by Fischerspooner paired with melodic choral increments that allow you to appreciate Twinley’s softer side, his seminal single inspires you to delve into it time and time again to re-appreciate the seamless shifts in tone and emotion.

The DIY Alt-Rock singer-songwriter hails from the South Coast of the UK and takes his influence from the alt-90s greats, including Weezer, Radiohead, Green Day, Eels and Feeder, but clearly, their inspiration was just a fraction of the creativity of the single that concludes on a psytrance-Esque outro in the same vein of Infected Mushroom.

Stream and purchase Steve Twinley’s single, Time Has Always Been a Friend of Mine, on Bandcamp.

Aaron Loveday transports humanity into a new world on Magenta Valley

With a time machine on hand and so much wizard-like skill to swim deeply into, Aaron Loveday is rather impressive on his latest single, which might stimulate the mind to drift into a better place on Magenta Valley.

Aaron Loveday is a Montreal, Canada-based indie multi-talented visionary who fuses in music, art, dance and painting into his wonderful creativity.

Art has always played a huge role in inspiring me to look within myself, to know my true nature, not through institutionalized ways of being, but through direct experience of inner realms, laying the ground work for remembering truth of who we really are, and what we aspire to be.” ~ Aaron Loveday

With sci-fi elements which shall dazzle even the most cynical minds, Aaron Loveday is at his brilliant best on this superb soundtrack to what is out there in the world. Seeking that genuine authenticity in a world which seems so fake this is an anthem for anyone who wants to drift into an exciting new galaxy.

Magenta Valley from Montreal, Canada-based indie musician and all-time creative soul Aaron Loveday is a rather enormously heart-healing release. Steeped in a dreamy atmosphere which might take those worries away, it’s hard to dislike a mesmerizing effort made with true love.

B-Fix holds a candle in the firestorm of his EDM pop single, Come Back to Me

https://soundcloud.com/b-fix/come-back-to-me

The Perth-born, London-based DJ, songwriter and music producer, B-Fix dialled the soul up to 11 in his latest progressive dance-pop hit, Come Back to Me. The future bass meets progressive house pop single holds a candle for the spark of a once-in-a-lifetime love while breaking sonic boundaries through B-Fix’s genre-obliterating inclination as an aural innovator.

B-Fix found his passion for music in the punk rock scene before dominating the EDM genre with his stormy high-energy hooks and ability to dizzy his audience with his bass-drenched drops. On the basis of Come Back to Me alone, innovation-hungry dance fans will want to save a spot on their radar. He has exactly what it takes to be bigger than Wave Racer, Vanic and Flume. Watch this space.

Come Back to Me officially released on October 21st. Check it out for yourselves on SoundCloud.

It’s four to the floor in Audio Jacked’s club hit, Love What You See

After his defiantly electric debut, Won’t Be Locked Down, which aired in early 2022, the UK-based songwriter and producer Audio Jacked (Daniel Puddick) is keeping the euphoria flowing. His latest EDM Pop hit, Love What You See, is a throwback to the era that saw him running club nights across the UK, but modernism didn’t go a miss in the clearly contemporary production that throws a few nods to the likes of Stardust and CeCe Peniston, but you’ll find no dust in this high-fire club hit.

One hit of the pulsating bass and we were right back on a 90s dancefloor, drinking in the lusty grooves and getting high on the salaciously powerful melodies that fizz with the kind of passion that can only transpire on those hedonistic nights enabled by rhythmically gifted producers such as Audio Jacked.

Love What You See officially dropped on October 14th. Check it out on Spotify.

Kouvaris The Universal Prince affirms his royalty in his pop floor-filler, The Universal Prince

Someone may want to let Ru Paul know that there’s a new world-ruling pop artist on the scene under the moniker  Kouvaris The Universal Prince. The singer-songwriter and composer is fresh from the release of their self-titled album, The Universal Prince, which effervesces with the infectious charisma of Shakira while pushing even further back into pop for the rhythmic influence.

With the blazing dance-worthy beats propping up Kouvaris’ unfalteringly energetic vocal lines in the title single, it is impossible not to be taken in by the fusion of soul, pop, and pulsating electro-synthetics. Since making his debut, Kouvaris has garnered over a million streams and views in addition to gracing platforms such as Fox, CBS and NBS. The airwaves are his domain now. I for one accept our new ruler.

Kouvaris The Universal Prince’s 2022 album is now available to stream on Spotify.
