‘Waited Too Long’ is the latest progressive dance-pop track from Kassia B, who has been captivating audiences with her evocatively dynamic vocals and prodigal talent from an almost absurdly young age. She was 15 years old when she penned her debut single during the 2021 lockdown. If any artist can prove that artistic maturity doesn’t necessarily equate with how many years you’ve existed on the planet, it is Kassia.

With a few singles behind her, she truly came into her stride with Waited Too Long which gives the teenage perspective of the pandemic through the lyrics and liberates the listener from any sense of lingering morosity with the galvanizingly euphoric build-ups and dizzying crescendos. DJ G-String’s latest single ‘Only If’ Remix brings the hypnotic EDM hype

With their euphoria-building hands, TC5official and DJ G-String , who both worked on the fresh remix of Only If, brought the best out in the palpitating synths, throbbing bass and hard percussion that is interjected by the ambient pads and soft chords that add an element of electronic transcendence.

While I’m not entirely convinced that the perpetuation of the G String entendre is a good thing. There is no denying the strength of the pull of the magnetic rhythms in the dance hit that takes sonic stimulation to a brand-new level with its groove-deep house elements and effortlessly arrestive 90s pop meets future pop vocals. Prepare your Summer EDM playlists for the loved-up vibes and liberatingly uplifting energy in Only If.

Berlin’s Raluca brought depth to dance-pop in her latest single, Could I

In the Berlin-based singer-songwriter Raluca’s latest single, Could I, nothing is black and white; melancholy melds with euphoria in the zeal of the orchestrally scored EDM pop progressions.

As the lyricism tackles the vulnerability that comes hand in hand with affection, the 80s and 90s-inspired beats veer through the unpredictable Avant-Garde hooks. It isn’t your average earworm, but with the depth of the lyricism paralleling the intensity of the experimentalism, Could I isn’t a dance hit that is easily forgotten.

Vocally, Raluca made no attempt to hide behind pop archetypes. Instead, she confidently ran with her own distinctively electrifying vocal lines that make Could I. Even at this early stage in her career, Raluca is proving to be one to watch.

The London-based singer-songwriter and producer, Andrea, has staked her biggest claim in the UK pop industry to date with the release of her funk-dipped bass-swathed hit, All I Want, which was co-produced by the Grammy-award-winning Andre Lindal.

Even without the club remix, All I Want is a guaranteed floor-filler. You can practically feel the hedonism building around the drops and crescendos, which make Andrea’s latest single addictive from the first hit.

West London singer-songwriter and producer Kai Justine released the ultimate break-up playlist staple with Don’t Worry.

In her latest single, Don’t Worry, the West London singer, songwriter and producer Kai Justine proved that she has got exactly what it takes to be the next alt-pop icon.

The moody yet energetic beats may not be a sonic signature that you’re familiar with. Yet, with the RnB pop vocals super-charging the self-produced mix with emboldening soul, it is all too easy to get in the dancey groove with Don’t Worry. The chorus of “don’t worry about me, I ain’t thinking about you” bites into the liberation that sparks when a toxic dynamic finally becomes obsolete.

Destiny’s Child, Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey are three muses that inspired Kai to tap into her talent; even though that influence rings through in Don’t Worry, it doesn’t override Kai’s autonomy. She is definitely one to watch.

The ultimate hedonists’ anthem unravels to ensnaring synths, polyrhythmic guitars, filthy electric guitar licks and swathes of deep sub-bass. While Slate’s sultry vocal magnetism draws you into the track that reminds you how good it feels to surrender to inhibition.

The Californian artist draws inspiration from the obscure and iconic. Bowie, Eno, and Mercury all became a massive part of the artist’s sphere of influence. Yet, when it comes to his sound, the composer, multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter notably followed his own lasciviously iniquitous edge.

Time slips away in James Bene’s latest fiercely impassioned balladic electro-pop anthem, Hours.

Right from the first note, the urgency of American singer-songwriter James Bene’s hyper indie-pop ballad, Hours, grips you. The strong melodies and visceral vocals resound so powerfully that any indication of the intensity of the balladic electro-pop anthem seems like an understatement.

Lyrically, you couldn’t ask for rawer intimacy, but sonically, the soundscape is almost matchless. With the overdriven indie guitars searing around the snappy percussion and the depth in the keys, the instrumentals are only just robust enough to platform Bene’s fiercely impassioned vocals as they question waning affection. Needless to say, it is a hit. If any up and coming artist has what it takes to dominate the charts, it is James Bene.

Electronica artist and producer, StartFromSKratch has released his soul-awakening hit, If I’m Yours.

Gard Read pops the perfectionist bubble in his anthemic indie pop debut, All We Can Do

Indie electro-pop artist Gard Read joined the swathes of artists making their debut in 2021 and scarcely left any commercial potential for the rest with ‘All We Can Do’.

While every faction of the media convinces you that you deserve nothing less than perfection while implanting unrealistic romantic ideals, Gard Read popped that naïve bubble with the reminder that Nobody is perfect. The stunning Slowdive-reminiscent guitars cushion the blow while the fiery production mimics the torrid state of mind  we enter when we contend with our insecurities and question if we’re worthy of affection.

Gard Read is right up there with Empathy Test for the way he can turn raw emotion into an anthemic hit that unifies through the resonance. If any track is going to convince you to embrace your imperfect autonomy, it’s All We Can Do.
