Chill Hop meets RnB Dream Pop in Eth4n’s emotion-driven release, Daisy

Driven by emotion and experimental innovation, the standout single, Daisy, from Eth4n’s debut EP, Inerrata, is a hazily melodic installation of aural hypnosis that demands you submit to the catharsis from the first note.

With saturated in delay guitars giving the seminal release a vintage tape deck recording feel and the mellow electronic elements rounding out the RnB dream pop/chill hop hybrid instrumentals, Daisy unravels as an intoxicatingly artful release.

By borrowing the serene dream pop timbres of AIKA’s vocal harmonies, the bitter-sweet exploration of how affection gives us a temporary lust for life strikes all the right evocative chords, especially when Eth4n’s effect-laden pseudo-trap vocals enter the mix and inject swathes of dynamism into the vignette of tentative idiosyncratic affection.

The Australian-born, London-based experimentalist may pull inspiration from the likes of Frank Ocean and JPEGMafia, but rather than assimilating their styles, he runs with the influence into brand-new sonic territory that you’ll be compelled to join him in every time you need sanctuary.

I Can Only Imagine: Tough On Fridays pulls deeply onto our heartstrings with Daisy

Dropping their 2nd single off the upcoming full release called The Encore You Didn’t Ask For, Tough On Fridays shows us why it’s never enough when you know that something special is too damaged to continue on Daisy.

Tough On Fridays is a Texas-based Archangel Records-signed indie alternative band who has been slowly brewing on the underground with their world class sound.

Following on from the previously well-received single Growing Pains, Tough On Fridays are rather excellent on this reminder that things just don’t work out sometimes. Packaged so sweetly together to take us on a reminder-filled daydream, this is a fine track that shall guide you back into your past.

Daisy from the Texas-based alt-rockers Tough On Fridays is a supercharged soundtrack to that lost love you cherish forever. Sung with gorgeous vocals that might open up your soul again, this is a superb reminder that life has many different hazards waiting for us all when we least expect it.

Daisy – ‘My Baby’s Blood’ Mind-twisting Lyrics

This song is the first standalone EP from Daisy; it’s also mastered and mixed by Luke Allmond and Daisy. When you first get to listen to this song you’re definitely going to have a lot of thoughts in your mind. You’d sincerely have many reasons as to why you should stay put and wait till you hear the last lyrics that comes off from this song.

While this might be a very slow song, it’s actually at the same time the type of song that will make you think too deep in a bid to unravel the factual meaning in what the singer is trying to say in the song.

There is to some reasonable extent an infusion of the artist’s personal sex, love and relationship tale which he’s had or probably still having with his lover. It’s more like a roleplay kind of relationship, perhaps, because you’ll get to a point where the artist mentioned in one of his music lines that “He is her baby’s baby girl and her baby also is his baby boy at least when she’s bored of her other toys”. It’s even really more of a mind twister when you read just the lyrics.

Yeah, the lyrics are somewhat intricately placed and also it’s also skillfully written. So I challenge you to check out the song and be the judge here.

The soothing vocals, and the melody that emanates from the steady percussion string and other set of musical instruments that strums each moment to keep the slow tempo of this song in unison till the very last minute its play time is also not very hard to be noticed.

Other than the part in the middle of the song where there are a lot of pitfalls in the sound/vocal range of the artist, I think this song is a very nice one. I’d be willing to see other works from this artist so I can understand if he’s intentionally good at writing very deep and mystical lyrics just like he so perfectly did in this song.
