Keeping positive during bad times: Shyland shows us the way to survival on ‘The Quarantine Song’

Shyland is back with a realistic new song all about what is going on in his life during this crazy pandemic on the acoustic-filled indie-rock track ‘The Quarantine Song‘.

The world is a mess and we are so bored inside our homes but need to swallow our pride to get through this, as we will be stronger for it. This is the message from the private USA singer-songwriter who prefers to let his music do the talking and not to get bogged down in any one box.

He likes to work with other artists, help us to laugh, learn and enjoys being exposed to different ways of doing things. This is probably one of his more serious releases and is a truly fine song.

His voice echoes the sentiment of so many across the world who are sick and tired of this pandemic. We are all just going to have to stay positive and reinvent ourselves to survive and music like this, really helps the day go by faster as the humor is light at times, while also giving us some truthful facts.

With a chorus that keeps the mood up and an array of interesting facts, this is a song that needs to be heard far and wide in the world.

The Quarantine Song‘ from the mysterious figure Shyland is a song that tells it how it is and for that, we need to appreciate his creativity and willingness to speak about this glum topic. The way to survive is through top music after all, as it heals all mental scars.

Nikita Graham has released her charity single “I’ll Be Your Hero” to raise funds for health workers

It’s a common expression that the best art is born in periods of great struggle. Singer-songwriter Nikita Graham’s latest single “I’ll Be Your Hero” affirms it.

I can only imagine how invaluable songs like I’ll Be Your Hero are to key workers who have been on the frontline all throughout the pandemic. Not only does the soundscape pay a stunningly fitting tribute to careworkers, but it will be an eternal account of their bravery.

The mark of any talented singer-songwriter is the ability to make the inexpressible, expressible. Nikita Graham perceptibly achieved with I’ll Be Your Hero as her verses implore us to feel brand new surges of empathy for their struggle and gratitude for their service.

I’ll Be your Hero was created as a charity single to raise funds for healthcare workers. You can find out more about the fundraiser via the artist’s Facebook.

In love with no contact: ‘’Old New Love’’ is the sad story of loving during COVD-19 from young Blues Rocker ‘Chork’

‘’Old New Love’’ is one crunching emotionally charged song that touches on real-life experience – a broken relationship, a shattered dream, and strangled happiness, amid a world that’s under lock and keys.’’- ‘Chork’.

Hailing from Derbyshire in the UK, upstart singer-songwriter Charlie Gibson, aka ‘Chork’, makes top notch Blues Rock and you can see his love for the British music scene. He has a great voice and the rhythm is very consistent always, this should be a breakout track. ‘’Old New Love’’  is a definite mood enhancer that is legal, the lyrics are clear to hear and the riffs are really catchy.

Benedict Bevan joins ‘Chork’ with his eclectic mix of Drums & Percussion, clearly a real pro. This dynamic duo sounds like a strong team and after learning from this debut track, surely much more is to come. Good times await British music and Belper, Derbyshire should be very proud. ‘’Old New Love’’ is a beautifully crafted song, one that should be appreciated and played a lot.

Atlanta Rapper/Producer ‘Yahchi B’ drops visuals for his self-assured‘’Quarantine Freestyle’

‘’I’m not your boyfriend, bae or anything in between.’’ Sending a message to the ladies in his life, ‘Yahchi B’ is quite fine with being single right now as he is on a quest for global respect and recognition.

Heavily influenced by Nas, Outkast, Tupac, Rakim, Eminem, and Kanye West, you can feel the old school style in his lyrical delivery. He mixes in his own new school style while on the mic and the results are quite impressive.

Formerly from the Bronx in New York, ‘Yahchi B’ made the move from his roots a few years ago and this change seems to have paid off. New York is a great city but it is easy to get lost in the suffocating environment of NYC Hip Hop. His style fits the more relaxed but music-crazy South USA.

In the Hip Hop game since 2012, this veteran rapper & self-produced artist has amassed quite a good following since his debut. A very confident Emcee, his flow is impressive, the beat real fly and with a summer time/chill by the pool with your bikini or swim shorts on energy to it.

Up and coming artist Prestorocket585 drops his new single Please Stay Home

https://youtu.be/PfT56WKwjTs

Inspired by the current events caused by Corona virus, up and coming artist Prestorocket585 drops his new single Please Stay Home.

Slow beats and moderate loops come together in this moody hip hop track to generate a soothing vibe that gives the artist a generous metric space to express awareness. It must be the product of a personal experience, a change from being used to hanging out to ease our sorrows to now reconsidering our daily habits and moving towards acceptance that staying home could save our lives.

Despite the serious theme we’re all growing accustomed to, Please Stay Home remains hopeful with its vivid groove and waves of synths that pulse in the background, as to create a sweet lullabying harmony that contrasts the darkness we’re currently living in.

Based on a multitude of synths that spread over the whole arrangement varying from keyboards, to pads, to choirs, Time To Say Goodbye is a heartfelt dedication to anybody who’s lost a special person and takes you through the emotional discomfort of having to deal with their absence.

The song is brought to life by Liv-Tyde’s powerful vocals that add on an ulterior emphasis to the sensitive theme.

Dave Kujanpaa – COVID19: a man and his guitar

Far from any major production, recording gimmicks or studio-crafted sounds, Dave Kujanpaa picks his guitar along with some heartfelt off-the-cuff lyrics and creates an emotional and currently relevant release: ‘COVID19’.

In the shape of a folk ballad, ‘COVID19’ is an appeal for people to endure this moment, to help flatten the curve by staying safe, working together until this too shall pass. Dave can’t wait to go back outside where “the sun will shine and the little kids will play” – a message to never lose hope.

‘COVID19’ is “a man and his guitar” song, representing somebody who doesn’t need anything else but his music to communicate. It’s all very genuine!
