Resistance resonates in THE MAINSTREAM OFFICIAL’s harbingering electro-anthem, Part of the Problem

Harbingering signs of the times rarely resound in trancey house mixes, but here to bring consciousness under the club music umbrella is THE MAINSTREAM OFFICIAL with their debut single, Part of the Problem.

Part of the Problem is the first single to drop in a series of resistance-themed singles that the duo has crafted to unshackle us on the dancefloor and awaken our minds to the issues we partake in if we go about our daily lives with blinkers on.

Sobering and liberating in the same glossy produced breath, THE MAINSTREAM OFFICIAL is doing more than just breaking ground; they are fighting for the world we are all respectively attempting to save, destroying, and living in ambivalently. The vocals perfectly gel with the rhythmically arresting, tension-fuelled progressions as they project the myriad of global issues before compelling you to take a stand.

Part of the Problem is now available to stream on Spotify.

Michelle Ayers sets the pace in her soul house anthem, Fast Steppin’

Newark-born, Atlanta-based veteran recording artist Michelle Ayers has been projecting soul into the EDM scene since 1988. In 2022, she is on zealous form in her latest single, Fast Steppin’.

As cool as a New York club kid in the 90s, as soulful as Houston, she was best placed to bring the funk, groove and euphoria in her escapist retro disco house anthem, which shows the vast range of her soaring vocal dynamism over the solid beats and Nile Rodgers Esque synthesised guitar chops. Feel good tracks have never felt so good.

Fast Steppin’ is now available to stream on Soundcloud.

DJ G-String’s latest single ‘Only If’ Remix brings the hypnotic EDM hype

With their euphoria-building hands, TC5official and DJ G-String , who both worked on the fresh remix of Only If, brought the best out in the palpitating synths, throbbing bass and hard percussion that is interjected by the ambient pads and soft chords that add an element of electronic transcendence.

While I’m not entirely convinced that the perpetuation of the G String entendre is a good thing. There is no denying the strength of the pull of the magnetic rhythms in the dance hit that takes sonic stimulation to a brand-new level with its groove-deep house elements and effortlessly arrestive 90s pop meets future pop vocals. Prepare your Summer EDM playlists for the loved-up vibes and liberatingly uplifting energy in Only If.

Only If officially released in March 2022. You can check out the remix for yourselves by heading over to SoundCloud.

Progressive House ‘Never Felt So Good’ than in Vekken’s Latest Single, Featuring Brooke Telling

One of the fastest ascending rising stars in the progressive house scene, Vekken, has gone interstellar with their vibrant floor-filler, Never Felt So Good, which celebrates visceral emotion while instilling it in the entrancing breaks and dizzying drops.

With Brooke Telling’s euphoria-teasing vocal timbre against the deftly orchestrated progressions that prove that Vekken knows just how to take rhythmic control with his mixes, Never Felt So Good will undoubtedly be one of the biggest EDM drops of 2022. No matter how many people continue to sleep on his colossal sound.

Never Felt So Good has hit the airwaves before, but not with the massive production behind this strident reimagining that keeps to the same script of compelling the listener to jump back into life with gratitude for the big things and the small. If you’ve been carrying excess misery baggage since lockdown ended, do yourself a favour and hit play.

Never Felt So Good was officially released on February 18th. You can check it out for yourselves by heading over to YouTube.

Late Guest at the Party delivered moody alchemy in their latest alt-electro hit, HUH.

Alt-electronica duo, Late Guest at the Party, is fresh from the release of their sophomore synth-pop album, Classic. Each track is a spacey high-energy dance-worthy hit, but the lead single, HUH, is the perfect introduction to their hyper, moody dance-pop alchemy.

HUH shares a similar sonic palette to Shiny Toy Guns, Policia and Hayloft as it exudes 90s Euro house vibes and teases euphoria through the bass-heavy breakdowns with all of the style and gravitas as the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. If anyone has what it takes to top the electronica charts, our money is on Late Guest at the Party.

HUH is now available to stream on Spotify.

Late Night Darkness: 33soteric return with second mysterious single ‘God With A Mask’

Bringing us their second single taken from the debut ‘The New World’s Internet 801 Orchestra‘ which is out on the 13th April 2021, 33soteric return with the mystifying track named ‘God With A Mask‘.

33soteric is a 2020-born electronic club act, who make that underground sound that is perfect for those wild 4am parties, that go on deep behind the city walls when most of the world is fast asleep.

The catchy beat grabs you closely and only lets you go when it feels like, as you get wrapped intensely into the layers of intrigue and mystery surrounding the act, that is nothing you have probably heard before.

God With A Mask‘ from the new electronic-club act 33soteric, is a song that will blur in your mind as you close your eyes and imagine yourself in a dark-lit venue that scares you a bit, as you dance your frustrations away with a song that you will either love or loathe. After all, nothing in between will do in this confusing world full of misdirection and confusion.

Stream the new single here on YouTube and see more of the journey on IG.

80s EBM meets RnB in Willy Matéo’s debut album, ‘I.D.’

Breaking RnB artist and producer Willy Matéo has made their debut with their entrancing album ‘I.D. (Internal Disturbance)’ which mixes a Billy Idol level of cool with intense techno beats and all of the soul of a classic RnB anthem.

The standout single, ‘iStandalone’ almost veers into the EBM arena, but with the smooth layering of the powerful vocals, the track stays true to the roots of RnB pop while allowing Willy Matéo to stamp down his signature style. It may be a fairly lo-fi production, but any fans of leftfield electronica won’t fail to fall in love with this 80s inspired track which wouldn’t be out of place on an OST to a David Lynch film.

Check out Willy Matéo’s album I.D. for yourselves by heading over to Spotify.

RavenRain is a positive presence on the airwaves with her latest EDM pop track, ‘Don’t Back Down’

If descents into darkness have been part of your daily routine lately, your sanity could probably benefit from hitting play on RavenRain’s latest EDM pop hit ‘Don’t Back Down’.

The forcefully rhythmic is strong enough to push back on feelings of existentialism and apathy as RavenRain’s entrancing vocals reach out and offer an olive branch of consolation that you’ll be inclined to grab.

Her positive presence on the airwaves is a breath of fresh air. Not all too many artists can simultaneously offer danceable beats and empowering vibes, but with RavenRain’s alchemic approach to production, she can seemingly do it with ease.

Naturally, we’re all too excited to hear what follows her sophomore single.

Don’t Back Down is now available to stream via Spotify.
