Canadian emcee T KELF 2FIDDY shows his frustration with ”my father”

https://soundcloud.com/t-kelf_2-fiddy/my-father-prod-gennx

Kelowna British Columbia, Canada is the home for T KELF 2FIDDY and he fires through the mic with his powerful new track ”my father”. This song speaks about his tough life growing up in foster homes as his parents couldn’t look after him due to their drug addictions.

T KELF 2FIDDY’s pain is especially apparent for his deadbeat father who he has clear disdain for. His anger on the mic is very clear and tears through the bars one by one. The Canadian emcee is in imperious form here and think this is his best effort yet.

my father” is one of the most powerful songs so far in 2020. This is a personal output that I bet he has been waiting ages to release. The beat helps matters here and paints this disturbing picture of a young boy being left practically on his own. The lyrics are raw and from the heart with astounding results.

Head through to his Soundcloud to hear from this excellent lyricist.

Zen Starwalker’s brooding ”The Dead Sea” is instant Hip Hop classic

Kingston, Canada’s Zen Starwalker is probably one of the most underrated Hip Hop artists in the world. His weighty vocals on new single ”The Dead Sea” drops the mic on new releases so far in 2020. His vocal skills are meshed perfectly to announce himself as an important storyteller who has found his way in this lost world. Sometimes music just strikes though your heart and you relate.

Ontario producer Pavalon sizzles with ”Nothing’s True”

In life, it’s so hard to work out what is real and what isn’t. When you meet someone that you like you don’t want to give away too much. Being a bit mysterious is always a good way to go.

His home town is King City, Ontario in Canada. Marco-Attilio Ventresca-Clarino aka Pavalon is a new producer in the game and wow does he make good music. The beat flows in with a subtle intro at the start and we are fooled into thinking this is a folk singer-songwriter. Pavalon has different ideas and the beat soon reflects an electronic-pop summer hit for the ages. The vocals are so nicely done and I love the sax that just adds that sprinkle of lust that we needed. This is a good song and is all about not telling that future lover too much. A trap that a lot of us fall into. Giving the keys to our heart too fast gives off the wrong energy.

If this is the standard to come from this Canadian producer then we are witnessing a new star in the making. ”Nothing’s True” is a quality track.

Check out the Spotify link for the tightly made track for summer.

Toronto Nu-Metal band Under Stolen Skies release solidarity single called ”Kill Corrupt”

This is a group that is fed up with all the nonsense around us in the world. They rage through the machine style and rock the speakers until they are smoking with anger. This is music that inspires and would make an awesome movie soundtrack. This is the follow up track to ”State Of I’‘ which was reviewed in April by Amelia Vandergast.

Canadian act Under Stolen Skies needed a way to tackle the frustrations towards the corrupt systems that regulates their society and feel that things are way to cruel and unjust right now. A brave stance indeed and one that must be applauded. They are fed up and taking a stand with such a powerful song.

Nu Metal punk rockers Under Stolen Skies sing and rap their way into our sights with a powerful political statement that fits 2020 like a tight glove. ”Kill Corrupt” urges the world to open up their eyes to not be complacent anymore and stop all the wrongs that are happening right now. We live in a crazy world and this smashing track is all about being unified. That is the only way to make this beautiful planet better again.

Canada’s Stigmada trances through with deep tech ”Are These Those Chords Vol 2”

https://soundcloud.com/eufortia/are-these-those-chords-vol-3

With an euphoric beat, no vocals and awe-inspiring samples that make you feel like you are flying in the sky, this is a stunning release for 2020. I feel free and have no worries as I’m carried through a crowd of people as we all unsocial distance. This is a dream for now but I feel a good vibe and this puts me in the summer mood.

Canada’s Stigmada is a young 22 year old producer who is wise beyond his years. He has a funky style about him and I enjoy listening to his beats. This is a young guy who is on his way up the ranks. ”Are These Those Chords Vol 2” is a happy track and should be belted out loud in the speakers and cars all over the world. If he can push hard there is no question we could see him on some big stages too. Look out for more progressive tech house tracks from this newcomer and he has all the potential in the world.

New Canadian Indie-Folk singer Rachel Gleddie releases stunningly beautiful debut ”Catacomb”

There are rare moments when you hear a song and it completely changes your day. This just happened when I turned this soulfully sweet song on full volume. It shows how music can heal you up and get you in the right mindset.

We can be our own biggest obstacle sometimes and it can really hold you back. When you break though the feeling is immense and you unlock so much that you have been missing. The pure-voiced Rachel Gleddie from Edmonton in Canada has just released her first ever song and it’s of such quality you would think she has been doing this for years. ”Catacomb” takes us through the fear of being burned and just keeping things simple. This is such a true message and so relevant right now during these wild times on planet earth. I’m so glad that Rachel found a way to unlock herself out and is now flying, free as a bird with the wind at her back. She sings with such beauty and the guitar sounds make me feel happy and warm inside. This is stunning indie-folk up there with the best. Peaceful music with a true message. Rachel Gleddie is a name to watch and I hope she tours soon so we can watch her live.

Canadian Psychedelic rockers The Space Wizards beam through with ”On the Loose”

https://open.spotify.com/track/3ZLhtdZBhG6kr66LfUC8k1

There’s a breath-taking start and the drummer is in full flow. There is no stopping him on this track and he fires through with unlimited energy. From there it’s a raw vocal and guitar lesson on how to entertain the crowd. One of Canada’s best are here and they are born to entertain.

The Space Wizards are a 3 piece outfit from the mean streets of Montreal that have been jamming together since 2017. They impress mightily with ”On The Loose”. This is good old fashioned rock and roll that is designed to make us dance. The band must be going nuts without live gigs as they seem like a proper act. Not concerned with fame, these guys just want to do what good bands do- rock out hard on stage and let it all hang out. That is exactly what the song is about. Keeping things real and letting bygones be bygones with small things. Life is too short for unnecessary issues. This single is taken off their successful ”Adding Color” album from 2019 with this song being one of their last single releases as new music is surely on the way in 2020.

This is one of the most intriguing songs of 2020. Born in Abuja, Nigeria, Edge has such a different style that makes you listen extra close to his vocals and he hits it out the park with ”Vice City Vibe – Sorry Sarah Couldn’t Really Call You”.

The Singer/Emcee based in Western Canada has a seductive voice, its so deep and has such mainstream appeal. I feel like I’m in a movie while listening to him, his flow is so consistent and I can’t help tapping my feet and wondering how I could get onto one of his music videos.

Edge has all the skills to impress any crowd as he just flows with such smooth professionalism, his voice captures a picture of cruising around in Vice City, rocking up to the best house party and following him into the VIP section. The intro to ”Vice City Vibe – Sorry Sarah Couldn’t Really Call You” is genuinely brilliant and has such an old school feel to it.
