Jangle Pop Meets Americana Rock in JimmyJimmy’s Latest Single ‘With You Soon’

US singer-songwriter JimmyJimmy released their latest single ‘With You Soon’ on November 24th, hit play, and you’ll appreciate Marr-Esque jangly upraising Indie intricate guitar licks which will lift you just as high as This Charming Man used to before Morrissey decided to make himself public enemy no.1.

The 80s New Wave Indie sound may radiate in With You Soon, but there are also rhythmic hints of Americana which make choruses as infectious as the reason we’ve all been deflated during 2020.

It’s no stretch to say that With You Soon is easily one of the most enrapturing Pop Rock singles we’ve heard this year. For your sanity’s sake, get him on your radar.

Sail away with the nostalgically lush tones in the standout release, “Preacher’s Daughter”, from Killarney, Ireland-based artist Colm O’Mahony & The Hot Touches.

Preacher’s Daughter is just one of the singles which features on the band’s debut album which borrows some stylistic elements from across the pond while keeping the folkish tones of Ireland still ringing in the euphoric aural pipe dream. The dreamy hazy melodicism combined with the soul-awakening vocal vibrato proves to be a powerful combination which will be a hit with any fans of Springsteen and the Heart Breakers.

Nate Wilkinson is set to release their resounding Alt Folk Rock single “Better Days”

We’ve been lucky enough to get a sneak preview of up and coming Alt Folk Rock artist Nate Wilkinson’s upcoming single “Better Days”. It’s safe to say that the airwaves are in for a potent infusion of sincerity when the passionately masterful soundscape drops.

With vocals and intricate guitar work which could give James Dean Bradfield a run for their money, Better Days is not only a deftly-crafted feat of Rock. The visceral intensity makes it so much more. I’m always of the opinion that lyricism should be striking and unapologetically honest, Better Days is one of the rare tracks which doesn’t disappoint.

By all definition, Better Days is a captivating hit. Whether you’re a Folk fan or have a penchant for the raucous licks in Rock, you’ll want Nate Wilkinson on your radar.

Folk-Rock artist Bruce Dennill shows the world his quality with reflective single ‘’Don’t Let Me Be the Reason That You Leave’’

Based in the City of Gold, Johannesburg in South Africa, well-known singer-songwriter Bruce Dennill is back with a new song and it’s a very touching track. Possibly losing the one that you care about the most is the theme here and he puts his heart and soul into this one.

With top South African Booking Agent Jack Rahme in his corner, Bruce has established himself as one of the best singer-songwriters around. Performing live since 1990, you can hear that Bruce is totally comfortable in his skin and his powerful voice is in full flow on ‘’Don’t Let Me Be the Reason That You Leave’’. 

Inspired by Paul Simon, Dave Matthews Band, Bruce Springsteen just to name a few, Bruce has released a really good track that is sure to be popular with music fans, young and old. With more music to come including a duet with the fantastic Megan Victor-Carelse, Bruce Dennill is making a big name for himself and we hope for more quality releases.

Zach Bair – Rutherford Drive: Soul-Steeped Americana Rock

Zach Bair’s standout single Rutherford Drive is a perfect example of what kind of alchemic energy can spill from the timeless combination of Rock and Soul.

The rhythmically accessible track doesn’t venture all too far from the realms of traditional Americana Rock. Yet, there’s plenty of authenticity to be found in the magnetic soundscape which any fans of Bruce Springsteen, Slash, Sting and Bon Jovi will definitely appreciate. And yes, the guitar solos are just as arrestive as what you’d expect from the aforementioned artists.

Zach Bair and his band possess the rare anthemic atmospheric edge which you’d definitely want to witness live if you got the chance. They’re definitely one to watch.

Check Out Bad Saint’s Electrifying Song “Hanging On The Telephone”

Bad Saint is a solo project by Tess Freedel based in Seattle. What is so fascinating about this is that she composes all the parts of the song and has fellow musicians join her for performances and “Hanging on the Telephone,” is no exception. This girl knows what she wants and she not only shows this in the way she composes her music but also in her very straight forward, fresh lyrics. With a strong pop rock vibe and an element of punk rock thrown into the mix, this song is one of those that you will find yourself singing randomly throughout the day.

With a cool edgy vocal tone, crunchy guitar sounds and underlying synth sounds sustaining the foundation, all performed by Tess Freedel herself, “Hanging on the Telephone” is basically an explosion of vibrant sonorities brought together in a fascinating way. The vocal tone also gives the song its character and attitude and it is evident that all instrumental and vocal parts are performed with conviction and very confidently, proving that this girl is definitely ready to take over the music scene with her sparky and creative ideas and a very unique and clear artistic vision!
