Brighton’s 8udDha bl0od continues to evolve with fantastic single ‘’1551 5ym80l!k 5h1mm3R’’

Some music is just designed to get you in a positive mindframe and ‘8udDha bl0od’ smash it out the park with this terrific song that is psych pop at its finest.

It’s not even about the lyrics in the track that makes it terrific, it’s the rhythm and melody that totally transfixes you, the song changes up with unexpected surprises. You know its English with the conversation about stars halfway through this 7 minutes 50 seconds classic. A music video must be on the cards here surely.

I feel like the band is a perfect act for a festival in the USA, somewhere hot and sticky with a massive crowd that hasn’t heard them before. The crowd will sway and new fans will be made instantly. Bring on world domination.

All I know is that this trippy song- presumably called ‘Shimmer’ – is that it’s a track you will play late at night with mates while staring at stars, reflecting and coming up with ideas on how to change the world. Streaming Brighton lads ‘8udDha bl0od’ is the best decision you will make all year and please do tell family and friends about them, they will surely thank you later.

8udDha bl0od – N1c071n3 GUnn: get into your kookiest mood

Completely unlike what we’ve heard before from 8udDha bl0od, N1c071n3 GUnn brings on a punk energy you may have already experienced during that “God save the queen” era.

Condensed in only 1:59, the song burst out in a guitar rampage that makes you appreciate the rawness of the distortion and overall sound, as if it was a plug-in and play endeavor. That sound – how rough, furious, rock. Love it!

I really hope many of you are ready to be thrown into a moshpit because this track will definitely make you want to start one.

Soare releases energetic R&B single High Ride

https://soundcloud.com/soareuk/soare-high-ride-stem-master-v2/s-PE5VrjGmW9E

Soare has dropped latest track ‘High Ride’ pulling in that R&B and Soul sound through this fast pace and catchy track.

Starting off with that upbeat melody adding in that high-pitched sound that pierces through, using this pulsing beat that flows through. Combining that with the occasional clasp of the strings on the electric guitar. Intertwining that with a loud clap as the eerie sounds begin to fill the background.

The voice is fairly flat in terms of tone, adding in a soft texture, it’s quite a fast pace piece as the instrumentals and vocals tend to pick up speed often ensuring the pitch is always kept high.

But the way in which the melody and the vocals come together they create this infectious piece that gives off a lot of energy as you listen.

Ornament – Cloudy as my 99

Ornament, an alt-rock trio from Brighton, have released a great rock song with pop undertones. The recording quality, which is evident from start to finish, is high and certainly deserves our attention. From the opening guitar, that sounds like something you’d hear on early material from Green Day, to its conclusion, this song impresses.

The band, whose members are all in their thirties, have chosen this track as their debut, after taking time to land the right bassist, and its clear why. This is a strong statement of intent from an act born from the ashes of Moontrap.

Do yourself a favour, folks, and put this song on a playlist.

This band is going places.

Artist 8udDha bl0od has dropped single 2:3

Yet another release from the unique talents from 8udDha bl0od himself, bringing in his upbeat instrumentation and his mellow vocals in his single ‘2:3’.

Starting off with the soft strum on the guitar, giving of this calming and rather uplifting essence as you listen, keeping the guitar at a soft pace and fairly low in volume as it plays alongside the vocals, the instrumentation is simple in terms of there is not a lot of instruments actually used, but the overall style of the guitar solos goes perfectly with the song.

He always has some pretty special vocal ranges, in each track they sometimes take a different approach in terms of pitch and overall tone but through this one they’re kept quite eerie and gravelly, really having that tone come from the back of the throat, giving it that more rough edge as they begin to sing.

Another fantastic piece by 8udDha bl0od always keeping his own sound shining through, be sure to keep up to date as he drops tracks pretty often!

Up and coming Brighton-based artist 8udDha bl0od has dropped his new single ‘j0hn 5h0070n: 7h3 OU75k1r75 Of MAnch3573r 2.3’.

Taking a more comedic and explicit approach with this one, although it is a fun one to listen to as it takes you on this journey through the story that they have to tell. Using the clashing of the cymbal to add into the instrumentation.

The vocals begin at a lower volume but then suddenly the volume is amped up a bit as they slowly start to collide with the beat. It may not be to everyone’s taste but it definitely stands out in it’s own unique way, which is what 8udDha bl0od is all about, he is not afraid to say what he wants and he does everything his own way and that’s just what we need in the music industry, not to always be influenced by other artists.

8udDha bl0od has dropped another new track A5!D JAm

The Brighton-based, Alternative Rock artist 8udDha bl0od has dropped another killer track ‘A5!D JAm’. Whilst also injecting a bit of Electronica and Experimental Rock, this is definitely one to add to your playlist.

Starting off with that smooth electric guitar riff that plays at a slow-pace melody, gravitating from the era of Grunge, having similar elements to the sound of Nirvana. With the eerie vocals and the instrumentation being kept to a low volume, whilst still giving it a lot of power.

There is such a diverse variety of different sounds and styles within this track, it’s mysterious, distorted, slo but yet incredibly compelling to listen too. 8udDha bl0od has created something that takes you back, it takes you on a journey on the evolution of sound and the way in which it can be modernised, it’s an excellent piece of music.

A&R Factory Present: Tenderhooks

Tenderhooks are a light hearted alternative rock band, embracing all areas of good music from blues to soul to jazz, bringing enriching tendencies to the musical table. Markus Leinweber the lead singer, and musical connoisseur for the keyboard and saxophone is the band’s chief personality, a quintessential British façade, whilst Benassi the lead guitarist, Paul Wheeler the guitarist, Phil Macnamara the bassist, Alex Marino on the drums and Nick Kreel the keyboardist all are vital pieces to the Tenderhooks puzzle, making the band complete in every shape and form. After releasing their forth album Loving Sword they have released a pragmatic music video for their first single from the album Brighton is Falling, revealing a genuine side to British life, portraying the artists on a corporeal level rather than superficial frenzy. Climbing to success, Tenderhooks have released their third music video ‘Blue Sky Train’ and are recording for the new album at the Metway Studios in Brighton.
Tenderhooks kickstarts a series of episodes with ‘Brighton is Falling’, creating a backstory to their music, which ultimately sets the unique band aside from their competitors in the indie-rock scene. Lead singer Markus Leinweber takes charge of the song with a traditionally British rock and roll attitude with similarities to the likes of Jamie T. The whole song builds up a lively atmosphere with an upbeat melody throughout, accompanied by a chirpy rhythm on the keyboards and a bouncing beat surrendering a vivacious ambience by the bassist and guitarist. Leinweber devilishly throws himself into the heart of the music by displaying a passionate performance, and this persuades the audience to join in the enthusiastic environment.

Each distinct episode thereafter contributes to the exclusive experience Tenderhooks have to offer. ‘Curtain Twitcher’ exhibits relaxed indie vibes, where ‘Blue Sky Train’ embraces the quality of jazz music. The slow-paced drumming and soft harmonizing vocals of ‘Curtain Twitcher’ recalls the guising complexion of the likes of The Beatles and Courteeners. The song’s anaemic structure recreates a summery complexity, extracting high spirits from the track through care-free grace rather than a troubled fixation that belongs to the alternative rock scene.

What makes ‘Blue Sky Train’ a fresh alternative to the Tenderhooks sound is the affectionate impression the idyllic saxophone marks on their listeners. We become lost in the charming mystery, where Leinweber’s kindred vocals and the jaunty instrumentals transforms the atmosphere into a celestial state. The band refashions a 1960s-school disco setting, almost like a scene from Grease, exploring all jovial concepts of a national pride in brass music. A combination of benign rock and old school blues, Tenderhooks comprises of inspirations from Madness, Ian Dury and Ray Charles, forming a complete feel good attitude to alternative rock.

Throughout all three episodes of Brighton Is Falling, Tenderhooks lights a spark in a classically British sound, reviving the true sound of rock and roll. They add comedy to each episode, and by humourizing British culture, they reveal the side of music which isn’t as glamorous as it may seem. From exposing the hard truths of signing to a record label, to dodgy gangsters and even making a joke out of Brighton hipsters, Tenderhooks are realists and that is what fascinates their listeners. The combination of indie-pop, jazz and rock and roll is a canny technique which shares both old school British rock and new age alternative-indie. Tenderhooks are as bold as ever with their attitude to rock music, and that is what the rock scene needs, an invigorating stance on music culture.
