All Who Wander – Daylight: A Rip-Roaring Fest of Alt Rock Culture

Indie, Post Hardcore, Synth Rock, Pop Punk and Classic Anthemic Rock all resound in the debut EP ‘Daylight’ from New Hampshire, US-based freshly formed powerhouse All Who Wander. As you can imagine, the EP is a rip-roaring fest of Alternative culture.

Not many bands can establish themselves as the perfect festival band with their debut, but All Who Wander discernibly succeeded with their infectious choruses, vocals which viscerally fight against pessimism, inventive breakdowns and absorbingly virtuosic guitar riffs.

If you could imagine what it would sound like if Enter Shikari, the 1975, Slash and At the Drive In collaborated, you’ll get an idea of what is waiting for you when you hit play.

Brian Dalton – Drown: Orchestral, Soul Shattering Industrial Rock

Fans of bands such as Incubus, Nine Black Alps & Nine Inch Nails are going to want to devour Brian Dalton’s latest track Drown which was released on January 5th, 2018.

Down is a prolifically rounded track, which grips you like a vice and doesn’t let go until long after the flawless instrumentals have faded out. There really is no criticism to be found in Brian Dalton’s latest hit, which he’s mixed up from his earlier releases which possess a more mellow grunge undertone. His sensational vocal ability allows the track to soar from resonant melancholy to raunchy rock vocals that make your heart pound with the industrial beat. The orchestral cacophony that swoops into the progression after the last chorus to tear a little piece of your soul away with it, bringing this palpably pounding track to life. And all that is without mentioning the pensive lyrics that ring with poetry steeped in vehemence.

It’s not often I can refer to music as sexy without cringing, but there’s something zealously Godly and sensual about Brian Dalton’s command of sound. He certainly has the Eddie Vedder effect.

All Hail To The King

Any artist who describes themselves as the result of  Blink 182 having a lovechild with Eminem and Lady Gaga’s backup dancers has got to be worth checking out and when you do you will realise that as descriptions go, it isn’t too bad.  Part quirky pop, part alternative hip-hop and part goofing around, King Dylan’s rap-rock hybrid does nothing less than celebrates life and just oozes positive vibes. It flies in the face of criticism, ignores the detractors, faces down jealousy and reminds us that the only way to live your own life is for yourself.

It takes an Eminem beat and a bounce but stacks it with whimsical, Day-Glo pop, it is celebratory and pulsing with positivity. Already big on the Calgary scene, King Dylan is the sound of life affirming pop, it is both serious and celebratory and even on the strength of this one song, though checking out his back catalogue is highly recommended, he has a great career ahead of him.
