LOVEBREAKERS RELEASE THEIR SINGLE ‘EYE ROLLER’

You can never say that the Britons can’t rock, it’s actually very much their cup of tea!

Lovebreakers set the example with their first single ‘Eye Roller’, an easy-listening alternative rock ballad that hints to a full-length album that apparently the Birmingham quartet is currently working on.

If you like Oasis’ and The Replacements’ open chords, ‘Eye Roller’ will satisfy you with its crunch strumming and melodic riffs overlaid on an upbeat pop tempo that makes your head cheerfully swing back and forth to the rhythm. Indie-ish (dare I say) vocals and honest and straightforward lyrics, you can’t help but sing along “guess what’s over, your eye-roller.”

Head over to Spotify and hit play on ‘Eye Roller.’

Jane H releases latest single Seashell: A mesmerising Pop single

Artist Jane H has dropped her latest single ‘Seashell’ fueling her powerful vocal range through this incredible Pop piece.

The sound of the ocean waves crashing against the beach gives it this soothing atmosphere as the pluck on the guitar strings begin to take over, having this really peaceful essence throughout as the background is filled with calming melodies.

As the lyrics are sung in such a compelling way, it’s filled with so much power and that pours through in every single second. The vocal ranges that Jane portrays are impressive, having that mellow brittle tone to her voice, that fits perfectly with the overall feeling the song gives off.

Every single part of the song is done in such a mesmerising way, as it comes towards the end the instrumentation gets louder and the vocals hit the high notes as the suspension builds through the use of instruments.

This piece is one that is a hit in itself, it has so much emotion that flows through it and it’s so relaxing to listen too.

Hip-Hop Duo Raph x TT Release Newest Single ‘Roll With’

When you’re in an audacious state of mind, you could barely miss the feeling this nice song dole out on a regular each second; it’s ever-stunning as the crescent moon.

This is a smash hip-hop rap song whose delivery is very smooth; just like when the “silk” kisses the “satin” in the pristine air, you’ll surely be dazzled by this feature alone when you listen to this song.

Comprising of two creative individuals hailing from Birmingham, UK, Raphael and Timon, Raph x TT write, produce and master their music themselves, allowing them full creative autonomy and ensuring that the end product is exactly what they set it out to be. Raph and TT can typically rap about the simplest version of any given idea and they actually look beyond themselves. TT arrives for his turn on the carousel, and he skillfully painted us a beautiful dreamscape with his style of flow and deep sexy voice, this was the defining moment for me in this song.

Their newest single exemplifies the versatility of the duo, with a catchy R&B piano hook overlayed with British hip-hop lyrics. Taking inspiration from the likes of Stormzy, Not3s and Lotto Boys and even from main stream artist Ed Sheeran, Roll With is British urban hip-hop with a twist.

Raph and TT are more likely gonna be categorized to be in the league of Wiley, JME and Skepta because they somewhat have same musical sound and style with them.

The laydown of an enjoyable piano sound that doubles as a chill track and a groovy record makes the song even more memorable. The production is also a note-worthy to be mentioned as one of the nice features of this track. Raph and TT meshed so well to exude same flash velocity of technical brilliance in this song.

This is a great song and y’all should go check it out.

Harry & The Howlers – Hell in High Heels: The 21st Century Evolution of Psychobilly

Harry Jordan may just be the woman to bring Psychobilly into the mainstream, for years I’ve adored acts such as The Cramps and Mad Sin, but there always a disconnection, a sense that the vibe could never be translated into this time. Harry Jordan, a Birmingham, UK based artist has infused the nostalgically tired sound with her contemporary female empowerment mixed with her blues sensibility to create her sensational debut track Hell in High Heels.

In some ways, the track came across as a rounded international sound, with elements from the past and future delectably combined to create a rampant Rock & Roll track with a unique blues/jazz sensibility thrown into the mix.

If you’re a fan of The Creepshow, Vince Ray & The Boneshakers, The Meteors or The Radiacs; Harry & The Howlers then Hell in High Heels is going to be a breath of fresh air to your tired old playlists. She’s taken a sound which often loses authority in delivery by putting her own Femme Fatal stamp upon it to bring that old Psychobilly sound into a new era.

A&R Factory Present: Miccoli

Birmingham three-piece, Miccoli are set to release their new single on on the 3RD of March 2017.

‘Idle Stranger’, the follow-up to last year’s ‘Silent’ EP, was self-produced and recorded at Clarion Studios in Penang off the coast of Malaysia. Available to download from all the major outlets, the track is a near perfect piece of infectious Indie Pop which completely encapsulates the band’s vocal harmonies and ear for a catchy tune. The first indication of what to expect from the eagerly awaited debut album, the new single is accompanied by a stunning video filmed in Venice and directed by up and coming photographer Valentio McKenzie.

After spending most of their childhood studying and making music, twin brothers Adriano (vocal and acoustic/electric guitar) and Alessandro (piano, vocal and acoustic guitar) teamed up with their younger sister Francesca (vocal, piano and harmonica) and decided to form the band a few years ago.  Taking inspiration from the likes of Simon and Garfunkel, The Police, Crosby Stills And Nash, Fleetwood Mac and the classic hits of Motown, the three siblings set about crafting their own blend of haunting, melodic and eclectic sounds to great effect.

Miccoli has since toured extensively throughout Europe and America; hanging out with Motley Crue along the way and have recently performed at the Wireless Festival in Hyde Park. Previous singles have attracted the attention of public and critics alike and have seen them feature on American, British and Asian television and pick up airplay on national and regional BBC radio as well as Internet and college stations across the board.

Having spent the last year in the studio, the band are now ready to set out on the road again and perform the songs that will make up the forthcoming debut album. In what promises to be a busy and exciting year ahead, they will announce live dates in the very near future.
