B.A.G Freaky is off the Richter scale with his fiery rap track, SEGREGATION

Baltimore rapper, B.A.G Freaky, is fresh from the release of his cinematic bass-drenched rap track, SEGREGATION; the massive production would barely register on the extreme end of the Richter scale.

Between the cheeky hustler wordplay in the lyrics, the energetic delivery and the boom-bap rooted beats, SEGREGATION is undoubtedly one of the most visceral independent hip hop releases to hit the airwaves this year. It scarcely comes as a surprise that B.A.G Freaky is making a steady ascent up from the underground with his loyal fans that are eating up his fiery approach to hip hop.

SEGREGATION is now available to stream on Spotify.

Los Alva bares his introspective soul in the poetry and vibe-driven alt-hip hop single, SLDN

So far in his career, every release has been an emotionally complex blend of heavy lyrics and upbeat instrumentals to take some of the weight of the introspection away. Los Alva’s latest single, SLDN, which reached the airwaves in June 2022, is another blister of balanced resonance.

With his modernistic RnB vocals riding on the bass of the Afrobeat-inspired hip hop beats, SLDN stirs the soul as much as it speaks to it with the lyricism that does more than border on poetry. It climbs right into bed with it to tear away the boundary between rap and poetry.

While some lyricists let their ego and determination to write hits allow the pen to hit paper, Los Alva is evidently perpetually soulfully inspired.

SLDN is now available to stream on Spotify.

Its all in the vibe in 2Dope.Ty’s latest infectiously dynamic feat of hip hop, Picture Perfect

Perfection doesn’t exist, but 2Dope.Ty, came pretty close in his latest bass-dripping darkly timbered rap track, Picture Perfect. It is a scathingly revealing snapshot of everything we want to project into the world. The razor-sharpness of the lyrics that bring you into the ludicrousness of our current status-obsessed reality is a testament to the North Carolina-based artist’s vernacular and wit that was formed through dabbling with poetry.

Stylistically, 2Dope.Ty staked his dynamic claim that allows his music to appeal to everyone, from Kendrick Lamar to Juice Wrld, without leaning on assimilation. There is something all too immersive about his laidback delivery of aggressive bars. While Picture Perfect is running through, it becomes a new gritty source of gravity. And we’re pretty sure that there isn’t a vibe check in the world that 2Dope.Ty couldn’t pass. He’s firmly affixed to our radar from here on out.

Picture Perfect is now available to stream on Spotify.

Constant Flow make the bass thump with ‘Pac Lyfe’

It’s been a bad few weeks for rap and hip hop, with the recent tragic deaths of both DMX and Double K, but it’s just possible there’s the slightest little glimmer of light in that darkness with ‘Pac Lyfe’, the new single from Floridian crew Constant Flow. Taken from new album ‘Unexpected – The Mixtape’, ‘Pac Lyfe’ grooves and grinds like proper old school dirty, gritty hip hop should, all deep bass, 808 beats, and smooth, lyrical flow.

It’s grimy, it’s sexy, and at times it’s downright despicable, all thump and punch, hard-hitting bass beats sitting behind that repetitive ‘…I can make the bass thump…’ vocal stamp; and yes. Yes, they absolutely can. You should check it out, right now, before the foundations crumble.

Hear ‘Pac Lyfe’, and the rest of ‘Unexpected – the Mixtape’, on Spotify; check out Constant Flow on Facebook.

Rico B – No Hooks: An Atmospherically Bass-Driven Hip Hop Debut

http://www.deezer.com/track/1054653542

Rico B has joined a plethora of Hip Hop artists who have made their debut in 2020, still, he definitely didn’t fail to make an impression. Their first single “No Hook” is a certifiable indication of plenty more fresh new drops to come from the US artist.

They’re rolling with their own unfuckwithably convictive attitude in No Hook, which is a fairly misleading title, you’ll be hooked in this atmospheric bass-driven mix from the moment you hit play. The vibe may be fairly ominous, yet, the Boom Bap mix has plenty of accessibly personable distinction to throw your way.

You can check out Rico B’s debut for yourselves by heading over to Deezer.

Blackmajic – Go (Superstar Figure) featuring Almighty Bhiz, Jaylaflame and Reg Mason

New Wave Trap artist Blackmajic dropped their latest single Go (Superstar Figure) featuring Almighty Bhiz, Jaylaflame and Reg Mason on July 24th. If any Trap track deserves to go viral this summer, it is this one.

The bass-driven mix packs a high-octane punch, but you’ll still be able to lock into the rhythmic grind which is offered by Blackmajic’s flawlessly metered Rap bars. Paired with sharp melodic hooks, there’s little chance that you’ll hit play on Go without being fully immersed by the solid, fresh and alchemic rhythms.

It’s one of those rare tracks you hit play on and can’t sit still while listening to it. Hip Hop tracks with that kind of arrestive power are worth their weight in gold. Naturally, Blackmajic is well worth putting on your radar.

Blackmajic’s latest single Go is available to stream via all major platforms through this link.
