Showing us what it’s like to be on the road via the expedition to the next festival, Nöyze asks for that bright light to be shone colorfully so that wonderful love may be reunited again on Guide Me.

Nöyze is a Montreal, Canada-based indie 4-piece band who has played all over the world and continues to develop their sound throughout their life experiences.

”The band’s initial influences include groups such as Pink Floyd, Kings of Leon, the Beatles, etc. With these influences as a starting point, Nöyze has created a sound which is very much its own.” ~ Nöyze

Presenting their harmonious melodies with a relaxing effect that might take you to a time and place that you recall so vividly, Nöyze are in a reflective mood on Guide Me and the Canadian band are in full flight with a marvelously serene single made from the heart.

Tough On Fridays is a Texas-based Archangel Records-signed indie alternative band who has been slowly brewing on the underground with their world class sound.

Following on from the previously well-received single Growing Pains, Tough On Fridays are rather excellent on this reminder that things just don’t work out sometimes. Packaged so sweetly together to take us on a reminder-filled daydream, this is a fine track that shall guide you back into your past.

Sweetspeak – Light Ruined Dark: A Warped Soundtrack to a Lynchian Fever Dream.

Testing the boundaries of rock n roll, the alt-rock band, Sweetspeak released their 2022 album, Signal Interception #186-Q7. The standout single, Light Ruined Dark, is the first feat of psychedelic experimentalism I’ve heard in a LONG time that isn’t tainted with derivative assimilation.

The distorted psychedelic blues tones would be reminiscent of a remaster of Fleetwood Mac’s Albatross… if the tape was fed through a meatgrinder. Sounding like two singles being played at different speeds simultaneously with bleeding vocals in the vein of Shoegaze artists, Light Ruined Dark really shouldn’t work, but God damn, it does. The immense guitar sound is practically an aphrodisiac.

The Art Crimes Band painted in metropolitan soul in their latest jazzy synth-driven single, Neon Skyline

The Art Crimes Band have been lauded as Cork’s most promising new band; their latest single, Neon Skyline, affirms just why so much hype has been amassing around their soul-driven indie synthwave sound. If you can envisage Nina Simone’s vocals fused over The Midnight’s soundscapes, you may get a fair way to imagining what the Art Crimes Band have stirringly amalgamated in Neon Skyline.

To the tune of seductively jazzy sax, shimmering synths and ambient funk dripping rhythms, Neon Skyline metropolitanly unravels around the timeless female vocals that could have been recorded at any time in the last century, but they fit right into the juxtaposing classic temporary timbre of this artfully consuming serenade, which calls out into the cruel cold world to make it infinitely more accommodating and less alienating.

Magnolia Grove is a Denver, Colorado-based indie psych band who groove up the cores of so many previously lost hearts with their cinematically nostalgic brilliance.

Embracing that moment that changed everything, the speaker huggers return. Magnolia Grove is their name and you better not forget it. If you have ever dazed your mind away at 2am with a tough decision to make, you will feel your heart shaking slightly.
