Dropped from the 7-track project named ‘Many Moons‘, MJ the Sensei and Monsieur Jovoni spark up the style in a way that has you feeling like everything is going to be alright again on ‘ISSCALM‘.

Baltimore, Maryland-born Hip hop artist MJ the Sensei is joined by Tennessee-born music producer/artist Monsieur Jovoni who link up splendidly on this Shonan, Japan-based release.

MJ the Sensei and Monsieur Jovoni are quite excellent on a track that takes your mind into a better place from all the vicious distractions that are waiting for you outside if you let it consume your mind from what is real and what isn’t.

The eloquent production that is intertwined inside is flawless and has your head nodding around so smoothly, with bars that reflect greatness and gets you into the mood to achieve those goals which you have closed the door on for too long.

‘ISSCALM‘ from Shonan, Japan-based MJ the Sensei and Monsieur Jovoni, shreds through a layer of doubt and brings only a flavour that tastes so majestic. These two seriously skilled artists join as one team to make a real gem on a track here that has you feeling so laidback and calm after a long day. The old school beat reminds us of the good days when there was less madness and only good music everywhere, just the way it should be.

Lost In Time: Baltimore’s San Junipero drop deep debut track on ‘Tears in Rain’

With their band Legends of Et cetera on a long-term hiatus for the time being, San Junipero bring the umbrella on the terrific debut that will have your curious ears perked up to attention, on the debut track called ‘Tears in Rain‘.

San Junipero is a music project of Utah Miller, a gender-fluid musician based in Baltimore, Maryland. This is the type of sound that is made from deep in the soul and transmits an original sound, that is authentically dusty and fresh groovy, well-made and filled with so much love.

”The subjects of the songs are Miller’s personal experiences with mental health, drug use, movies, tv shows, wealth inequality, climate change, love, death, and robots.” – San Junipero

This is the sad story about those moments that are swept up in time, as you recall their memory and wish that they were still around to be with you. This is such an introspective story – and will take you places you forget existed – or where you wanted to forget to avoid hurt, but know deep down that you shouldn’t.

‘Tears in Rain’ from Baltimore-based San Junipero, is a stunning track and have indeed achieved the goal of creating something beautiful. With a reflective start, this song gets into the full flow after three minutes, and we are taken on a reflective ride that is quite remarkable. This is memorable track that has your heart in a flutter, as you remember those times when you didn’t get much sleep, as you stayed awake thinking about those lost friends who you really miss.

Tony Aye is singer-songwriter from Baltimore in the USA. Originally from Albuquerque in New Mexico, Tony uses a wide variety of influences and musical styles to create unique and dynamic music with a strong lyrical base. After being a gospel artist from his whole career, in 2019 he decided to move towards a career as a Neo-Soul & Pop Artist. Tony is using his new platform to embrace all of who he is as a proud Black Gay man as well as a teacher and public speaker.

‘Nobody But U‘ from Tony Aye is a fun song that is all about letting that special person know that you only have eyes for them. You care about them so much and only want to be happy and spend your life with them. This is a vibrant track with a huge fun factor with the R&B fused energy. A quality track indeed and one that gives 2020 hope.

Fast-rising Baltimore Hip Hop artist/poet Akilah Divine is back with a heart-felt and real message with the visuals for ‘Tribe‘.

Akilah Divine is a singer, rapper, spoken word artist, actress and model. Not to mention, she is a proud college graduate working consistently to fulfill her purpose in life. Akilah aims for her music to be an experience that resonates with all people and to give them something they can connect with and feel.

At the age of five, Akilah developed a love for music and would pretend that every household object was a microphone. From the sandbox to responsibility and adulthood she always found her way to the stage where her voice and presence became the key to people’s hearts.

‘Tribe‘ is about standing up for what is right. Right now there is so much wrong in the world and this is an artist who is doing what she feels is right. Too many people are dying and there comes a time when enough is enough. The Black Lives Movement is one of the most important causes of our lives. Akilah Divine is on the front-lines and doing what musicians have done before her. Show the world what is really going on.
