Ava Valianti has unveiled her icily intimate indie-pop vignette of heartache, January

Ava Valianti

Even if you’ve put your own January blues behind you for another year, the melancholic chill in Ava Valianti’s third single, January, is worth pulling on a jumper for. The Massachusetts indie-pop singer-songwriter reached her zenith with the intimately composed, expansively produced hit, which dials up the intensity of the artful beguile to seduce you into the relatable pensive introspection.

As the ultimate antithesis of a plastic pop protagonist, Ava Valianti ensured the aura which envelops the release visualises the alienating sensation of loving someone from afar and being left in the cold while tethered to the past and hypothetical outcomes as they fall into the arms of another. If Angel Olsen was produced by Thom Yorke, their collaboration would struggle to hit with the same impact as January, which implants pop hooks in a confession which feels far too personal to be a diary entry.

With her debut EP in the pipeline and ready to drop this summer, and every release being a quintessential triumph so far, the future looks bright enough to outshine her luminous talent.

January will be available to stream on all major platforms, including Spotify, from May 24

Ava Valianti Became a Matchless Entity in the Music Industry with Her Turbulently Fervent Single, Middle Ground

Ava Valianti set the bar plateau-high with her debut single, Bubble Wrap; with her sophomore release, Middle Ground, the Massachusetts-residing singer-songwriter exhibited how honed her evocative approach to song crafting has become.

The striking tour de force starts with piano keys that would be right at home on a Radiohead LP or the Westworld soundtrack before the instrumental arrangement builds into a synthesis of moodily turbulent electronica and ornate orchestral motifs to reflect the disquietness of emotional upheaval.

The lyrical refrain of “I’m a broken record but at least I’m playing, music blaring louder than the pain” within the monumentally progressive release is a testament to how easily Ava Valianti reached the epitome of affecting alchemy.

Her vocal lines become an anchor in the instrumental storm and fervently resound through her artistic authenticity and determination to pour visceralism into every note of the intensely augmented release. She’s a matchless entity in the music industry, it’s only a matter of time before she ascends through the charts if she keeps producing tracks in the same phenomenal vein as Middle Ground.

Middle Ground will hit all major streaming platforms, including Spotify, on February 23rd.

Ava Valianti reigned indie folk pop supreme in her debut single, Bubble Wrap

At 14 years old, the Massachusetts-hailing indie folk-pop breakthrough artist Ava Valianti is delivering definitive proof that maturity doesn’t come with age; it comes with emotional intelligence, and her emotional IQ is lyrical leagues above the rest.

Her debut single, Bubble Wrap, distinguished her as one of the most promising new arrivals of 2023. The sharpened poetic volition is a magnetic juxtaposition against her harmonically rich and airy vocal timbre which effervesces against the acoustic guitar notes.

The power in her metaphors is one thing; her ability to entice you into a relatable vignette which comes to life with the vindication delivered to anyone who knows how it feels to be made small by people with petulant and puerile minds puts her on an entirely other level. We’re stoked to hear what she and her producer, Chris Plante, will create for her sophomore release.

Bubble Wrap is due for official release on October 20. Check it out on all major streaming platforms via this link.
