Lose control of your rhythmic pulses with Riesenradler’s fiercely sonic electronica single “The Unsung Hero”

“The Unsung Hero” is the sonically-enticing recent release from Austrian artist and video game developer Riesenradler, with passions for both classical music and Electronica, the artist electronically achieved what composers have been doing for decades; orchestrating soundscapes which become so much more than an aural experience. ‘Mesmeric’ doesn’t seem to cut it when it comes to Riesenradler’s production style, you’re practically vexed by the visceral futurism contained in their releases.

The Unsung Hero is just one of the mind-melting mixes which you’ll find on their sophomore album Under the Nanorain which is due to drop later in November. If The Unsung Hero is anything to go by, you definitely won’t want to miss it.

You can check out The Unsung Hero which dropped on October 20th for yourselves by heading over to YouTube now.

FunkEnergy brings the Funk-filled Break Beats with “Beautiful Liar”

Italian artist and producer FunkEnergy made their most entrancing contribution to the Big Beat scene yet with their 2020 EP ‘Red Lips’ which dropped on October 14th via UPUK Records.

With snappy breakbeats bringing a solid structure to the exuberantly dynamic standout track ‘Beautiful Liar’, you can’t help but get into the groove with the up-vibe rhythms.

The fact that FunkEnergy was able to create a high-vibe track about infidelity makes me love him even more. The cheeky playfulness resonates all throughout the mix which you’ll definitely want to give plenty of repeat attention to. The production boasts a massive sound, but it is still easier than breathing to slip into. Naturally, we can’t wait to hear what comes next.

You can check out FunkEnergy’s single Beautiful Liar along with the rest of their 2020 EP by heading over to SoundCloud.

Pete Jackson proves we’re all in this together with their entrancing Alt Darkwave hit “MASS HOUSE ARREST”

https://soundcloud.com/pete-jackson/mass-house-arrest?ref=clipboard

Delectably dark, yet euphorically rousing, MASS HOUSE ARREST by Sheffield-based artist and producer Pete Jackson is the feel-good Dance drop we never knew we needed.

Listening to high-energy tracks may be a bitter-sweet experience now, given that nightclubs are inaccessible, but you can class MASS HOUSE ARREST as a refreshing exception.

Starting out with a steady minimalistic beat, the track gently eases you into the momentum, only after ensuring you’ve had a suitable hit of catharsis. Then, the track amasses scuzzy distortion as it gains traction and the sound of Pete Jackson’s crunching guitar tones start to coalesce. Mid-way through the extended mix, the Dark Pop vocals work their way in, any fans of And One, Apoptygma Berzerk and Covenant will definitely approve.

I genuinely don’t know where my sanity would be if it wasn’t for artists such as Pete Jackson who are solidifying the culture bubble which protects the real fans of art, music and culture.

House gets a Chiptune infusion with Asercandro’s debut “VOY X AHÍ”

2020 has sucked for so many reasons, but the number of artists and producers making their debut has been a sweetener amongst the chaos, confusion and tragedies. Alt Electro artist Asercandro can count himself amongst our aural saviours after the release of their high-vibe debut.

VOY X AHÍ is a testament to the Puerto Rican-based producer’s ability to implant ecstasy within the glitchy electronic progressions which, in turn, become an earworm and implant themselves in between your synapses.

To create the high-vibe and energetically electric hit, Asercandro borrowed a fair amount of inspiration from 8-bit and 16-bit videogames. Yet, under the artist’s retro-futuristic rhythmic prowess, it’s safe to say, you’ve never enjoyed Chiptune like this before.

You can check out Asercandro’s track via Apple Music.

MASSIVESAD – Re: Builds: A Melancholically Mesmeric Playlist Essential

It’s been a while since a new track literally gave me goosebumps. Yet, the chill crept across me before the first verse hit in MASSIVESAD’s melancholically mesmeric Alt-Indie single “Re: Builds”.

The Floridian artist and songwriter found the perfect balance of smoky, sludgy atmospherics and striking soul in Re: Builds’. The track starts as a melodic and almost Neo-Classic Electronica score before the soundscape gains momentum and starts to offer electrifyingly static aural turbulence. The evolution in the track perfectly captures the feeling of losing control after starting out with poise, grace and good intent.

You can waste your time attempting to pigeonhole each beguiling component in Re: Builds. Or you can simply let the alchemy unfold in this truly pioneering single which doesn’t ostentatiously throw aural futurism in your face. Instead, there’s a real sense that MASSIVESAD through themselves completely into the candid and evocatively transfixing release. And in the process, they created one of the aptest tracks for our dystopic and dark times.

BEA BOX is set to release her rhythmically explorative, seductively Avant-Garde Pop single “Kiss Me”

We were lucky enough to get a taste of Canadian artist BEA BOX’s upcoming single “Kiss Me”, just one of the tracks which feature on her highly anticipated EP “Origami” which strives for originally and strikingly succeeds.

Her culturally dynamic style helped to orchestrate an authentically enigmatic single which is all too easy to sink into. As you fall, you’ll get pick out myriads of different artful textures, even the snobbiest of musos would struggle to best-place and pigeon-hole BEA BOX’s boundlessly expressive sound which plays around with tribally rhythmic electronica, seductive Pop and the Avant-Garde.

Kiss Me is due for release on October 30th, you’ll be able to hear it on BEA BOX’s official website and SoundCloud.

Reawaken Summer Nostalgia with Fading Echoes’ Latest Single “Make Me Feel”

https://soundcloud.com/fadingechoes/makemefeel/s-JvLyZaVODBb

Make Me Feel is the latest trancey drop to be released by EDM artist and producer Fading Echoes which won’t fail to invoke feelings of euphoria and reawaken the nostalgia of summers past.

It’s the perfect aural hit for anyone who has felt a little jaded. Given that it is 2020, I can imagine that will be a lot of us.

The tonally exotic single wasn’t orchestrated to be accessible and archetypal. It was constructed to leave you mesmerised by the unpredictable progressions as the soundscape flirts with a myriad of different genres. From Future Pop to Indie to Acid House to Electronic Rock, you’ll find it all within the finely crafted unforgettably distinctive mix.

Tom Algorithm – To Dust: Exploratively Immersive Electronica

Electronic artist and producer Tom Algorithm released their 5-track Minimalist Techno EP “Sequences” on August 9th, the perfect introduction to their captivatingly immersive style is “To Dust”.

The progressive soundscape offers a complexity which is rarely found in Instrumental Electronica. The vibe of the track isn’t immediately obvious, to make To Dust even more intriguing, the nuanced evolutions in tone leave you even more eager to hear what Tom Algorithm will throw your way next.

Despite their moniker, there’s a serious amount of well-rounded human emotion on offer in the deft progressions which are robust despite the delicacy of the neo-classically-inspired notes around the swelling basslines.

Real Clothes – Taiping Rebellion: Aurally Alchemic Avant-Garde Dark Pop

Real Clothes

Brooklyn-based Dark Pop artist and producer Real Clothes is set to release their chillingly hypnotic track “Taiping Rebellion” as part of their 2020 EP “Precaution”.

The EP addresses the instability and authoritarianism which seems to be slowly tearing apart the fabric of our society.  The EP was also orchestrated as an outlet for the grief which anyone with an ounce of empathy and compassion is undoubtedly feeling right now.

You’ll find plenty more than just lyrical resolve when you hit play. The indulgent infusion of Dark Pop, Trip Hop and Avant Pop pulls together as an entrancingly immersive single. Around the solid bass-driven beats, the chiming notes add plenty of depth to the instrumentals which Nico Fox’s vocals alluring find synergy with.

You’ll be able to find Taiping Rebellion along with the rest of the artist’s 2020 EP “Precaution” on all major streaming platforms including Spotify from August 7th.
