Brighton’s 8udDha bl0od continues to evolve with fantastic single ‘’1551 5ym80l!k 5h1mm3R’’

Some music is just designed to get you in a positive mindframe and ‘8udDha bl0od’ smash it out the park with this terrific song that is psych pop at its finest.

It’s not even about the lyrics in the track that makes it terrific, it’s the rhythm and melody that totally transfixes you, the song changes up with unexpected surprises. You know its English with the conversation about stars halfway through this 7 minutes 50 seconds classic. A music video must be on the cards here surely.

I feel like the band is a perfect act for a festival in the USA, somewhere hot and sticky with a massive crowd that hasn’t heard them before. The crowd will sway and new fans will be made instantly. Bring on world domination.

All I know is that this trippy song- presumably called ‘Shimmer’ – is that it’s a track you will play late at night with mates while staring at stars, reflecting and coming up with ideas on how to change the world. Streaming Brighton lads ‘8udDha bl0od’ is the best decision you will make all year and please do tell family and friends about them, they will surely thank you later.

Self-reflecting ‘’To Leaf Too Young’’ from Brighton’s 8udDha bl0od is here to relax our hearts

https://soundcloud.com/william-orpen/to-leaf-too-young/s-BmufoDEhgbe

Yesterday, you flew away. You came to me too young. Despite our best efforts, sometimes timing is off in life and we have to accept this and move on with our heads held high.

The boys from cozy Brighton, England- a seaside resort in the county of East Sussex- are back with a mature single that is solid in its execution, with soothing lyrics that takes you to a reflective place. I love the guitar riff in this one and can’t wait to witness this live.

‘’To Leaf Too Young’’ is an intriguing song, one that I could quite happily listen to on a long train journey while writing a letter or by simply staring outside into the distance with a smile on my face. With ever-increasing maturity it will be very interesting to see where ‘8udDha bl0od’ goes next creatively. They seem very comfortable re-inventing themselves, so let’s hold on and enjoy the ride.

8udDha bl0od are back with deeply beautiful ‘’Track 10’’ that pulls on all heart strings

https://soundcloud.com/william-orpen/track-10/s-FvflOhmH221

Love reaches all of us. Brighton boys ‘8udDha bl0od’ show their gentle side with the new single ‘’Track 10’’.

I feel the lyrics on this one as the pain of love is sometimes hard to deal with. It’s tough to understand and we do need to deal with it eventually to fully heal, to get the feeling out of us in order to move on. This song is clearly very personal and is best listened to with the volume up very loud- so that each part of the song is truly appreciated for its execution.

Locked away in a countryside cabin for nine months shortly after forming as a band to develop a sound that the band wanted, ‘8udDha bl0od’ are now one of my favorite artists. Influenced by well-known favourites such as Stone Roses, Brian Jonestown Massacre and Tame Impala, this is a group that puts out incredible music with soul & meaning.

Dreamy Psych Pop 8udDha bl0od hit all the right notes with ‘’Downtune’’

https://soundcloud.com/william-orpen/downtune/s-LhEuhhXYqlM

Popular Brighton act, the ever-entertaining and interestingly spelt ‘8udDha bl0od’, return with a more laid-back and equally effective track called ‘’Downtune’’.

A real up & coming band with an incredible live set, if they get their branding and marketing on point, we could see them rise to the very top of the music game in the UK and beyond. Over the last few years they’ve supported the likes of Night Beats, Mystic Braves, Cosmonauts, Holy Wave, Froth, The Get Rids and more top bands.

‘Downtune’’ is all about reflection and right now I imagine the boys are forming brand new music and itching at the bit to perform live. It will be a great day when we can witness ‘8udDha bl0od’s’ improved psychedelic fuzz and dreamy melody live set as this is an exciting band with lots to offer the listener. I am excited to hear more from them during the rest of 2020 and have already put a note in the calendar to see them live, no matter where in the UK the gig is.

Stream their new song here on SoundCloud so you can immerse yourself in their uniquely brilliant music.

8udDha bl0od release their new guitar- and drums-savvy experimentation: xX!i!+Xix=XL!i

You don’t need to be a music expert and see through all the features of a song to appreciate 8udDha bl0od’s latest experimentation.

Instrumental and very experimental, xX!i!+Xix=XL!i (assuming that’s the title) develops through guitars lines that with a simple change in the playing technique manage to increase and decrease the intensity of the song, as well as of the vibes it generates.

xX!i!+Xix=XL!i can definitely be played at a party if your friends dig a niched music genre that lays its foundation on a myriad of sounds and ethereal atmospheres, for an “LSD effect” that will let you loosen up in a 60’s-style kind of night.

Close your eyes, sit tight, and explore the depth of experience you’ll have by listening to xX!i!+Xix=XL!i on Soundcloud.

Get ready to trip out on it: 8udDha bl0od release Untitled

8udDha bl0od are back with another inspirational track, a get-ready-to-trip-out-on-it tune, with a title that completely hides the song’s purpose: Untitled.

Starting off with what sounds like a sitar but very likely a guitar played with a slide or as if it’s being tuned up and down, it still feels as if they’re reproducing a Middle-Eastern atmosphere that blooms in local folk sounds.

Going beyond what at first may strike as utterly experimental, the song gets into a somewhat 70’s-driven progressive rock record extending past 11 minutes and dips its vocals into an impulsive scream, mimicking the attitude of a young Mick Jagger.

Place a mic in the middle of a recording studio and let 8udDha bl0od spontaneously jam and Untitled will be the result.

8udDha bl0od kicked off the introduction track to their latest album with inventive effects which would give any guitarist pedalboard-envy. The chiming choral guitar progressions make for a trippy start, but from there on out, the epically-lengthed 11-minute instrumental track will take you through a myriad of evolutions.

8udDha bl0od’s recently released single “Untitled 1299; L3<3l <3; liv3 4 n0WVL0<3 f0R3<3R:12:42; !! + ii = V; fligh7 0f 7h3 3.:.gl3” is a must for any fans of Sonic Youth and Glenn Branca.

But rather than assimilating Avant-Garde pioneers, 8udDha bl0od weaved in plenty of their own distinction through the use of bluesy, hazily psychedelic atmospheric tones.

The experimental Math Rock notes fall into just the right place to create a rhythmic pull which will lead you through the deftly crafted progressive soundscape. As the track progresses, the rhythms get tighter and tighter until you’re aware that your own rhythmic pulses have become arrested by the hypnotically cutting track.

8udDha bl0od – 21Rc0ni1: Archetype-Smashing Alt Rock

https://soundcloud.com/william-orpen

Fans of Radiohead, The Beatles, and Nirvana are likely to categorically agree that up and coming Alt Rock artist 8udDha bl0od’s upcoming single 21Rc0ni1 is a stunningly enrapturing soundscape.

With elements of Art Rock and Psych Pop with nuances of the Seattle Sound lingering in the accordant tones, 8udDha bl0od’s latest single offers the archetype smashing genre-transcendence we’ve come to expect from them. But what we definitely didn’t expect was the quantity of candid emotion which poured in through the lyrics and vocals in equal amounts.

The quiescent vocals pull you in deeper to the point you’d be able to hear a pin drop in the production while the melodies soothe you with their organic catharsis.

You’ll need to wait a little longer to check out 21Rc0ni1 for yourselves. In the meantime, head on over to SoundCloud and delve into 8udDha bl0od’s eclectically diverse back catalogue.

An instrumental folk ballad: 8udDha bl0od release 1nK3D

8udDha bl0od are a new discovery with every new release and their instrumental track 1nK3D is no exception.

Tranquility is the feeling and serene the atmosphere, giving you enough fair sound span to enjoy the textures of this folk ballad.

The classic guitar changing from open chords to melodic lines controls the spacious harmony cadenced by mild drums that merely accompany the gentle rhythm. Waving in the background, a flute sound chimes with the guitar melody, sweetening the song’s flavor and nourishing a delicate theme.

1nK3D is one out of the plentiful sound journeys you’ll embark on if you follow 8udDha bl0od.
