8udDha bl0od

8udDha bl0od remain on the same theme of their previous S0U<3n!R5 1.3 with their new effort S0U<3n!R5 3.9

As a likely follow up to their previous S0U<3n!R5 1.3, 8udDha bl0od remain on the same theme with their new release S0U<3n!R5 3.9, and it’s safe to assume they’re embracing a completely new direction heading towards an indie/alternative style.

Following up on their other track, with S0U<3n!R5 3.9 the band goes full-Blur but this time with an inclination towards Gorillaz-like arrangements, where clean guitars and rap nicely merge, generating a modern upshot of what alternative hip-hop crossed with indie rock did in the early 2000’s. If you follow artists belonging to Parlophone, you’ll know what I mean.

The multi-vocals in the choruses that meld into some sort of choir also recall what the “virtual band” created back in 1998, which was actually one of their main gimmicks, however 8udDha bl0od’s folk-ness adds on such an original singer-songwriter vibe that it’s slowly letting the band be identified within the first couple of notes. Nice job!

8udDha bl0od – S0U<3n!R5 1.3: a feel-good bluesy tune

https://soundcloud.com/william-orpen/souvenirs-13/s-S5o2JPJHoif

8udDha bl0od are back again with another surprisingly unexpected tune: S0U<3n!R5 1.3.

You can’t deny how remarkably (and easily) the band shifts from one style to another without exhibiting sound gaps or giving any indication that might suggest they’re emerging in the music scene. With that in mind, S0U<3n!R5 1.3 starts on a blues-y note that made me extensively think of Blur, and throws in some feel-good monotoned rap bars that Damon Albarn would surely craft at his best.

Supported by a gentle choir, the vocals lead in nicely and build a catchy melody in the choruses, while the harmony mostly relies on clean electric guitar chords. The blues solo at the end pulls the track towards a satisfying finale that slowly fades in a volume drop.

Head over Soundcloud and hit play on S0U<3n!R5 1.3.

Folk music at its deepest: 8udDha bl0od release their new track This Small Town

8udDha bl0od have made quite an impressive shift from being full into psychedelic rock to taking on folk music at its deepest level in their latest release This Small Town.

In what emerges as a nostalgic ballad, a violin melody leans on acoustic guitar arpeggios in pure folk style, opening up to the first verse and then accompanying the mellow vocals throughout the song. With the rhythmic section creating a comfortable hammock to welcome and swing the harmonies, the track develops within the cosy atmosphere of a man telling a story.

Although we’ve come to appreciate the varied features of 8udDha bl0od’s music, This Small Town presents us with the opportunity to further enjoy every single instrument, sound, melody, and cherish all the emotions that a tuneful ballad can transmit. A score that 8udDha bl0od achieves effortlessly.

8udDha bl0od cruise into mellowed out overdrive with ‘Dr!ving !n the Sun’

https://soundcloud.com/william-orpen/driving-in-the-sun/s-oWsOuSANbY4

Experimental and alternative rock artist 8udDha bl0od have released a much more mellowed out affair with ‘Dr!ving !n the Sun’.

It’s Beatles mixed with garage rock and acidic jazzy flourishes with ‘Dr!ving !n the Sun’: a drawn out long-haul drive across a song-route 66 of unexpected chicanes, turns and psychedelic jazz riffing. Again, 8udDha bl0od showcases a striking amount of artistic versatility yet signature trills are all too memorable in this release.

If you’re a fan of increasingly experimental alternative psychedelic grunge oscillating alongside a slew of Britpop and Beatles influenced sonics, 8udDha bl0od may very well be an artist you shouldn’t delay with diving into.

You can check out ‘Dr!ving !n the Sun’ on 8udDha bl0od’s Soundcloud page here.

8udDha bl0od shows a (slightly) soffer side with new release iN3x7 2 M3

https://soundcloud.com/william-orpen/next-to-me?in=william-orpen/sets/found-lost-within-wi7hout-the-ka7-7riangl35/s-R3kGqYblCHj

Experimental and alternative rock artist 8udDha bl0od has released another (this time, shorter named) single ‘iN3x7 2 M3.’

While being known for sonically brash and overpowering soundscapes, this number is a relatively softer one. It’s more reminiscent of early Britpop meets grunge and ‘iN3x7 2 M3’ proves that 8udDha bl0od is able to retain a notable portion of his usual artistic presence on the track.

For those wanting an experimental rock sound made in a Britpop-voiced manner, 8udDha bl0od’s new track could very well be up to your music taste – just don’t expect to be able to remember any songs by name if you dive into his rather rapidly expanding discography.

8udDha bl0od ravages with robotic-chaotic rock in new release

Experimental and alternative rock artist 8udDha bl0od has released another single in his series of unintelligibly (and ironically, understandably) named tracks.

It’s another pot-smashing and kettle banging musical D-day landing of distortion that 8udDha bl0od uses to kick off affairs. Moreover, this artist has a habit of creating alternative avenues for his expression, and this is another one of those swirling, aggressive affairs that pulverise conventions and drop sonic bombs.

If Radiohead put themselves through an angrier, weirder filter during their Bends era, you’d find something that wouldn’t sound too dissimilar to 8udDha bl0od.

Jealousy reigns with strong ‘’UR Hands In His Hands’’ single from Brighton’s 8udDha bl0od

https://soundcloud.com/william-orpen/ur-hands-in-his-hands/s-ZwYMYe5Syn2

I know that you know that I’m incapable of letting go. You know where this is going don’t you? This new single is about wanting that person that you think you should be with, but aren’t right now due to bad timing.

‘’UR Hands In His Hands’’ is the latest song from the talented Brighton band and this is a solid release here in 2020. I feel like the song could have been slightly longer as I was just getting into it. Perhaps, that was the whole aim to begin with. The track is meant to be short, striking and full of remorse. Not being with that special somebody can lead to lots of regret.

The latest in a long line of 2020 songs, this is up there with the best of the band’s offereings. I’d love to see a music video of this track, it would be a work of art possibly. With sad lyrics and a story of love, who doesn’t want to see what happens?

Sitting by the fireside, who’s gonna say no. ‘8udDha bl0od’ are back and they bring the heat with happy ‘’Fireside’’ single to warm our hearts. After their most recent dark & moody releases, this is a welcome song to add to their arsenal.

This is a happy track,  only 1 minute 10 seconds- a short and happy song does the trick sometimes. Good vibes only, this is a perfect add to anyone’s playlist, just to change the mood and forget about any worries that you may have.

‘8udDha bl0od’s’ memory card must be so full with music but surely they will be able to afford a larger one real soon. I love ‘’Faireside’’ and it brought me memories of making smores with friends and laughing by the fireplace. Bring on more smile music like this.

8udDha bl0od make everything better with soul-happy ‘’Say Do, She Don’t’’

https://soundcloud.com/william-orpen/say-do-she-dont/s-ODwY1ozoUig

She don’t like my leather shoes yeah, she don’t like my fur coat, she don’t like everything I own, she likes my soul. Ah yes, this is what love should be about. It’s all about the soul, not what you wear or drive.

‘8udDha bl0od’ are the architects behind some terrifically catchy songs, with amazing guitar solos that are super funky and you feel like you are in a different world when their music is in your ears. Their music can be moody, almost distant. This time however, they are in happy form with the summer-friendly 2020 single-‘’Say Do, She Don’t’’.

It feels like 8udDha bl0od has been sent back in time to save the earth from bad tunes. The Brighton, England Psych Pop/Soul band are here and aren’t going anywhere. They are that next ‘big thing’ and only a few people know that yet. What a time to be alive.

Moody Acoustic Jazz vibes with new single from 8udDha bl0od titled ‘’May 2012 Switching Places’’

https://soundcloud.com/william-orpen/may2012switchingplaces/s-F4LafNsVrJh

Sometimes you just wish you could switch places and not be the person is one situation, years ago. You didn’t want someone to see your face, being somewhere you shouldn’t- but they did anyway and the game changes. This can’t happen of course until a time machine is invented but the brooding Brighton band with soul explore the topic anyway.

With an abundance of music added to their collection recently, the band are making quite an impact in 2020. They have loads of new songs, all collected from spending 9 months together, churning out classics, again and again. I wish that there was a camera in the band room during the creation, so we could witness this brilliance and learn a thing or two.

I felt like I was in a 1940’s movie with ‘’May 2012 Switching Places’’. I was half expecting Al Capone to pop out as it had a very mysterious and haunting feel to it. Once again, this is such a great song that I found myself listening to it over and over again.
