SLEEPXWELL teamed up with fellow Hip Hop Rap artist Young Sam & producer Nape to create his latest Trap drop Kawasaki; what a genius move.
SLEEPXWELL has been pretty quiet on the new release front this year but the fluidity in his flow proves that keeping his talent off the soundwaves could almost be regarded as criminal. The stylised rhythm behind the melody to his first 2018 track Kawasaki proved that when it comes to versing gritty Hip Hop there aren’t many that could match the up-vibe energy behind the delivery of his bars. Young Sam was the perfect artist to create a vocal contrast to SLEEPXWELL if I were to offer any suggestion it would be to keep the bars as natural as possible and hold off on the effects on the Hip Hop Rap vocals. For me, the effects dampened the charisma which was on offer through the inventive lyricism, yet, it has to be said; the resounding Trap beat was absolutely flawless.
