Paradise is the standout single from Searching for Luke’s latest studio album Tahonga Bar. If you were looking for a track which fits nice and squarely into a box, you’re going to be sorely disappointed with the genre-mash, essence-fuelled offering of rhythmically soulful ambience.
The prelude to Paradise almost fools you into believing you’re going to be treated to a standard offering of Shoegaze Indie, yet, that’s where reverberant Soul Pop vocals hit you, thus creating one of the most prodigally inspired soundscapes I’ve heard this year.
Hearing reverb-soaked instrumentals under the Urban groove of Searching for Luke’s style isn’t something that you will want to miss out on. The lyrics are tentatively poised and placed throughout the track to allow you to become gripped in the transcendentally captivating narrative.
You can check out Searching for Luke yourselves by heading over to Spotify now, if you’re as taken with the track as I am you’ll want to instantly devour the rest of the nine tracks on the album where the up and coming artist offers an array of sultrily styled diversity.
