While a lot of artists can keep you guessing as to what they are all about with their artist titles, Rocboi Hood Metal R&B sums it up perfectly. And their latest single “Squad” affirms that they are exactly what they say on the tin.
The mesmeric glitchy track starts off with a tentative downtempo to lay down the ominous tonality in the track, and even though the Alt R&B track is pretty much as dark as it gets, there are still plenty of light notes in there to make Squad a perfectly textured track. Rocboi Hood Metal R&B really did create a testament to his stylistic talent with Squad however there could have been a little more variance to really hype up the energy.
