Through a mix of lyrical depth containing clever metaphors, potently arrestive Alt Rock energy and vocal pitch perfection, R E A P E R Z debut single “The Living Dead” was born.
Between the Aberdeen, Scotland-based duo they created a magnetically reverberant single which offers visceral resonance and plenty of powerful imagery. The single is essentially the aural equivalent of Romero’s Dawn of Dead. We’re amongst brainless sheeple, but as long as there are poignant yet sludgy hits such as The Living Dead, I’m sure we can find a way of feeling a little better about it.
R E A P E R Z definitely went beyond the expectation of a duo this fresh from inception. With their contemporary edge, yet accessible allure, this record certainly won’t be the end of the newcomers.
You’ll have to wait a little longer before you get the pleasure of streaming R E A P E R Z’s single for yourselves.
