There aren’t many up and coming Indie Pop artists who can put out tracks which match the veracity found in Paul Williamson’s latest single “Internet Girl”. The track makes the 1975 sound like a melancholic Post Punk band. Yes, it packs that much of a euphoric punch.
As a result, the chances are pretty slim that you’ll be getting Internet Girl out of your head once you hear the high-octane instrumental hooks. Not only is Paul Williamson discernibly talented when it comes to cooking up infectiously riotous Pop tracks, but the energy which they bring to the performance is unparalleled.
Their instrumental ability also becomes strikingly clear through the jangly guitar progressions which feed into a synergetic, polished arrangement. Internet Girl stands as a testament to Paul Williamson’s talent. And you’ll hear far less talent in many mainstream hits on the radio.
