PANDDA hooked up with Ariel for their latest track “Home” following up from their last single “Ultimatum”. After checking it out it became all too clear that PANDDA has got encapsulating plaintive emotion within an upbeat soundscape down to a fine art. The ultimate effect of the single being one of resonant catharsis and pure admiration for the artist who can so candidly lay down lyrics which hit as hard as the 808’s.
Perhaps what’s most striking about Home is the contrast between the pensive nature of the lyrics combined with the glitchy break beats in the multi-layered mix which are sure to enamour any fans of Progressive House music. Usually finding an EDM track with mesmeric vocals is like finding a needle in a haystack, but PANDDA isn’t your average artist. Here’s to hoping there’s an album in the pipelines for 2019.
