Up and coming recording artist PaNaMa HoLLa has taken Rap right back to old school with his latest track ‘Panama X Fraudin’. In the sea of mumble Rap artists with predicable Trap beats, his latest hit is a welcome introduction to the underground Hip Hop scene. With every word audible it’s impossible to zone out from the bars after the first verse has ran through, with such perfect meter and rhyme it could almost be translated as poetry. The beat was kept down-tempo for the most part, but in the tentative procession, you’re treated to deep notes that almost allow the track to veer into the EDM Rap category. Any fans of Ice Cube, N.W.A, Dre and Nas are going to want to give the mix four minutes of their time to hear the weighted, intellectual track unfold.
