The future is here: Oso meets his match on the steaming hot RnB single ‘Tap In’

Featuring the lovely Melanie Angel on the new video as the fellow washer at the local dry cleaners, fresh new singer-songwriter Oso drops one of the hottest RnB tracks of the year with ‘Tap In‘. He has his hands full with her but he doesn’t seem to mind in the slightest.

Oso is a Queens, New York RnB/Soul artist who is one of the new breed of musicians who are aiming to bring the genre back to prominence in his city. After growing up in the golden age, he has that extra special style that ensures that if he wants it enough, he will move up the ranks quickly. Co-produced by Hitmaka and the duo Ayo N’ Keyz, this seems like a dynamic team that have just made a hit track.

When you are clearly too creative for the shackles of school life, music is the savior and doing what you love is a blessing; you will sleep in studios and do whatever it takes to make it. This is the only way to succeed in this wild game with so many other artists around, so you need to stand out from the rest.

His voice is so smooth, you don’t need a razor to shave. This is a singer who has endured hardships and who isn’t letting go of this opportunity very easily. When you have talent you need to put in the hard work too otherwise it won’t work for long and it feels like we are witnessing the start of something special.

With an EP on the way, this is the single that is going to help knock the door down and listeners need to wake up and enjoy the ride.

This is the story about upping your game and speaking to that person you like otherwise you may never know what could of been. You might seem to get rejected a few times but that is all a part of the game. Showing your intentions and looking fresh with a smile, is all you really need to do to see if they are into you too. From there, the temperature heats up real quick.

If you want it bad enough, you gotta put the time in and it feels like Oso is that guy. ‘Tap In‘ is the hottest song I’ve seen/heard all year and you might need a cold shower after watching this video.

The tension is so obvious and this is an excellent RnB track that signals a new era for a previously-stale state of affairs. No more. The future is here and looking really bright.

Put your shades on and see this video on YouTube. See his IG for more info on what’s next.

In-between the party: Cozy Danger drop brand new honest single ‘Where Are All My Dogs At’

Taken off the brand new album called ‘Invincible Dog Story‘, ‘Where Are All My Dogs At‘ is the fresh new track from the mellow dudes from Cozy Danger as they greet the animals at the house party first.

This is the story of how you want to be at the party so bad, over think it, decide to go but you take so long to get there, you are sweating by the time you arrive. Once you get to the party, you seem more keen to say hi to the dogs rather than party with the humans.

The authentic indie rock track has shades of reggae and this is a really fun and honest listen with a story that you will probably make you smile, if you have dealt with anxiety when going to a party before. The cool kids are looking and you don’t want to make a fool out of yourself. Ultimately however, enjoying yourself and not caring what anyone else thinks is the best way to go in life. This is easier said than done but definitely possible.

Cozy Danger are quality on ‘Where Are All My Dogs At‘ as they sing with so much honesty and this is a real look inside how some people struggle when going out, while others either are chilled and comfortable, or others have some Daddy or Mommy sodas to forget how you really feel.

Getting let ‘Down’ again: Singer/producer Dewuy drops his new single that finds him in reflective mood

Dewuy is a fresh R&B singer-songwriter and producer born in Vietnam, raised in France but now based in vibrant Australia. He rips in with the brand new single called ‘Down’ which is the taken off the recently released 5 track EP ‘Novocaine’.

A massive Malcom in the Middle fan and he pronounces his name based on the character called Dewy. This is a real creative who has used his time in Australia to work on his visual skills, production and is now a flourishing full-time musician.

This is a hot new single all about feeling like you are wasting your time with someone that you are super keen for. They have different ideas however, and your mind sets are so far away, you might as well be in a different country. A story about how the fire isn’t there from their side and you know you need to move on otherwise you are going to get hurt.

His determined voice is so honest throughout and you can hear his frustration. A new start awaits and he knows it. The beat busts through the curtains and shades over the bedroom to end proceedings no matter much you wish it could be different.

This is a club slider of a song that deserves lots of spins with packed clouds. As live events stay mostly closed worldwide, we will have to enjoy this splendid song in our own homes, with the candles on and lights ‘Down’ real low by Dewuy.

San Francisco, California is the home of new kid on the block Kiani Alexandra who is a Pop/R&B artist. This fantastic and dynamite singer is back with her new song called ”All Talk”.

The message here is that Kiani doesn’t want to be alone but isn’t allowing herself to be played by anyone again. Spank are here with joyfully different indie-rock ”Mr. Rogers Buzz”

Denton, Texas Indie Funk Blues band Spank are back with a new groovy dude single and it’s a pleasant break from the world. This is old school stuff with lots of solos and breaks from the skillful drummer and bassist. I really enjoyed this and was lost for a while while grooving along to this new track. A perfect theme track to a series from the 70’s show I could see Hyde rocking in his shades while dancing to this with Celso.

These guys love fusing rock, funk, blues, jazz, and r&b into their songs and the sound is so uniquely awesome. I imagine seeing Spank jamming away at a festival with smoke filled crowds all happy and dancing to these chilled tunes. The main theme here is that the guys don’t take themselves too seriously and this track is all about just having fun. They do speak about being careful in the party scene as it can wear you out. Solid advice here from their friend ”Mr. Rogers Buzz”.

Click on their Youtube channel for more groovy vibes from the Texas outfit with lots of soul.

To find out more about their next tours I’d check out their Facebook.

They boys seem more active on Insta so also check them out there too.

I feel like I’m in a movie for this one. UK’s ‘8udDha bl0od’ create another masterpiece and are in inspired form with ‘’81llY 8lU3 800g13 0n D0wn 2 m3’’ aka Boogie On Down.

With a tie-dye shirt on, red-shaded sunglasses stuck to my sunburnt face and a Bob Marley cigarette dangling between my chapped lips, this is the kind of eargasm-music that gets you in the mood for life. Forget all the nonsense illuminating from the TV new channels of 2020 and turn this song up loud.

This is real music, with a funky bass line for days and a kick-ass drumline. The vocals are spacey-fied, I feel like I’m in the music video with the band, dancing along with a goofy grin on my face. This is how good music should make you feel right? This could be ‘8udDha bl0od’s’ signature song that propels them into a world we can only imagine.

LISHI – “Dropping Back” A Lucid Cinematic Pop Sensation

Enough of the booty and anaconda milk shake, it’s time to feel refreshed with a whole new intelligent and meaningful song from a creative artist.

Now we’ve got something real and insightful to sway us right off our feet. Sydney based musician LISHI, AKA Eleanor Dunlop, dropped her new track, “Dropping back” and it’s in all shade of awesomeness.

“Dropping Back” was released on the 23rd of March 2018. It’s an amazing creative song that breaks all the status quo to set up a new benchmark for itself. It’s in no way saddled with the mandate to kow-tow to everyone’s kind of song preference. This song is perfectly made for those that are actually moved by creativity and as well as those music enthusiast who personally have that special trait of discernment.

The multi-talented artist, LISHI, released the aforementioned ‘Dropping Back’ single nearly twelve months ago and it has now had over 250,000 streams on Spotify. Since then, she is known to produce a set of truly uplifting tunes that blend Classical, Electronic and the National Geographic and the result is an almost perfect, future pop dream musical.

“Dropping Back” is a lush cinematic pop that is both intimate and otherworldly. ‘Dropping Back’ effortlessly collates sounds such as a smooth melancholic jazzed soundtrack, a whip crack of tragedy and a soliloquizing aura.

The song started off rather slow with that kind of emotion that runs wild when one listens to Lana’s Summertime Sadness. “Dropping Back” is a song that’s quite different from whatever you might have perceived of it at first glance.

It has this sadness and bitterness smooched all over its lyrics but yet, still an interesting song that probably can get someone who has experienced or at least can relate to the message the artist was passing in this song; to tears.

LISHI always have gotten her inspiration from artists such as Air, Roy Orbison, Lorde, Nina Simone, Nirvana, Grimes and Chopin.

This artist might as well be termed to be in the league of those artists whose songs can easily get to let go of a teardrop.

The chorus of this song feels like catharsis, and you can almost feel that someone is being exorcised. Even if you can’t relate to that, there’s this particular trait that is apparent on “Dropping Back”; it’s the guilt and the sheer intensity of emotion that is enough to suck you into the song in an attempt to understand more clearly what the artist is feeling.

There’s really no fancy gimmick here, this song’s technical simplicity and the creativity of the artist is reason enough for you listen to this song. The end result is a song that is caustic, emotion-filled and overwhelming.

August – Less is definitely more

As soon as Week of Grace begins pouring from the speakers you know that you are on to something a bit special here. Special in that, far from being just another singer-songwriter, indie girl with guitar, or in this case guitarist,  August instead seems to build music from fractured emotions, deep thoughts and sad realities. She has the ability to shimmer like the light catching broken glass, chime like distant church bells in the deep of night and ooze lyrics which are as much about the voice as an instrument as they are about communication.

There is a wonderful blend of light and shade, of lushness and minimalism, hazy warmth and sharp edges that evokes bands such as The Sundays or Mazzy Star at their most minimalist, that same honesty, the same openly worn emotions. Musically August wanders between the enigmatic and the unutterably beautiful, uses simple guitar chords to frame her words, is sometimes direct and sometimes you feel that you are accidentally listening in to a very personal conversation. Never has so little gone so far.
