Bitchboyrun is the first single to be released from the up and coming EDM artist Ohtearsofjoy’s album ‘Heathenbabywonder’. The Lo Fi production of the single almost glazes the sound with a Dream Wave ambience, as the vocal delivery allows the sound to stray into the New Wave arena. Whilst it has to be said that the track isn’t the most resounding EDM beat we’ve been treated to this summer, there’s still a lot to be said about Ohtearsofjoy’s experimental style which definitely sets him apart from other contemporary Urban EDM artists. There may be a touch too much reverb and effect laid down on the vocals, the beat ran through steadily and with a graceful amount of fluidity.
