With their unique psychedelic melodies up and coming Essex-based act Ocean Flaws have orchestrated a debut EP worth getting excited over. The way that the four-piece have reimagined a tried Indie Pop sound is nothing short of prodigal with “Cosmic Tropics”
Whilst there’s plenty of acts replicating the sound of M83, Ocean Flaws add even more intricacy to the instrumentals especially when it comes to the jangly guitar progressions whilst the vocals rest comfortably in between haunting Post Punk and anthemic Indie. The band have already received attention from BBC Introducing and it doesn’t take any stretch of the imagination to see why they’ve already bagged themselves air time. Their seamlessly arresting rhythmic approach to sound offers a uniquely transient aural experience alongside poignantly poised lyricism.
