In her upcoming single “Tough Love” Nicole Leaskk proves that soul and attitude can sit hand in hand. The lyrics may contain fractures of melancholy, yet her empowering air takes this RnB Soul Pop track to the next level.
Rather than offering the usual lovelorn wistfulness, Nicole Leaskk created a track which inspires you to push away any pensive thoughts which tempt you to believe that you should beat yourself up following a hard break up.
If candidly fierce and inspiring tracks such as Tough Love were more prevalent on the airwaves, I have no doubt that plenty of more people would exude the same self-respect which Nicole Leaskk did while writing Tough Love.
With her refreshing approach to lyricism, distinctively soul-spilling vocals and the radio-ready production on the Jazz-infused RnB Pop instrumentals, Tough Love isn’t a release which you’ll want to miss out on.
You’ll have to wait a little longer before you can check out Tough Love for yourselves. In the meantime, you can check out Nicole Leaskk’s earlier releases on SoundCloud and follow her via Facebook to keep up to date with future releases.
