Limit is the latest track from up and coming Soul Pop singer songwriter Myles Travitz, those who love an archaically funk-riddled track are sure to be in heaven with the aural nostalgia. Yet, Limit is more than just a revival track, Myles took his skills as a pianist and brass player and merged them with his ability to contort electric sound to create an upliftingly experimental soul-inspired single.
I have to say, it’s been a long time since the lyrics to a Pop track resonated with me so deeply. We can all get behind the sentiment of reaching our limit and needing to take some time to ourselves before our heads implode. Well, now we have the stunning single Limit to use as a cathartic soundscape to our escapism. Whilst a lot of Jazz vocalists have soul, very few have the charisma to match Myles Travitz, his vocal style creates an instant accessibility to a soundscape that not too many people are brave enough to venture into.
