Up and coming Kenyan Alt Rock artist Murfy’s fLaW dropped their latest single “The Right Now” on September 19th, and if you’re looking for a truly authentic voice, you’re going to be pleasantly enamoured.
There may be no striking reminiscences to other artists in the soundscape, but there’s plenty of accessibility through the Pop Rock female vocals which should be plenty of appeal to fans of Garbage and the angular Indie guitar licks. More importantly, The Right Now spills plenty of magnetic soul making it all but impossible not to hook into the deftly orchestrated rhythms.
Expect big choruses, alchemically fresh instrumental synergy, and a melody which may need some persuading to leave your mind alone from The Right Now.
