“Lone Mantis” is the first demo album from up and coming singer songwriter Mitchel Logan.
Whilst the production may be Lo Fi, there’s definitely a palpable amount of talent behind the raw recording of his emotively charged acoustic tracks. Mitchel’s narrative lyrical style has an instantly captivating effect which draws you into the resounding sentimentality of his tracks which sit synergistically alongside the rhythmic melody’s curtesy of the acoustic guitar.
With his quaintly accessible lyricism, unique vocal tonality and melodic mastery of the guitar, he’s the triple threat. I dare say each track from his album especially “Fighting for Forever” would go down a treat with Ed Sheeran and Glenn Hansard fans. The intricate melodic progressions have a potent infectious capacity which won’t fail to resound.
