With their contemporary approach to R&B Soul, Midxnite has cooked up a track which doesn’t just carry appeal to music fans of a particular leaning. Universally-appealing rhythms run right through the captivatingly ironic single.
Men are frequently branded as emotionless beings, as it happens, that’s exactly what the single was inspired by. Emotionless is unequivocal proof that Midxnite definitely isn’t dead inside, and my heartstrings took a yanking listening to the smooth, candid slow jam as their introspection ran through that allegation.
