Before the first verse to Melissa Le’s latest single One on One ran through I was awash with 90’s R&B Pop nostalgia (AKA heaven). I believe a fair enough amount of time has passed to get excited by the revival of the sound created by artists such as TLC and Destiny’s Child. Melissa Le’s vocals were subtly sultry and fairly domineering throughout the duration of One on One, yet she made the ingenious decision to team up with a rhythmically relentless Rap artist who lay down some of the most rhythmically relentless bars I’ve heard this year. There’s a massive anthemic vibe which flows right through One on One which makes the track infinitely infectious, I have no doubt I will be compelled to return to One on One time and time again.
You can check out Melissa Le’s latest single One on One on Spotify now, with that much potential, I’m sure you’d agree that it would be criminal to hesitate any longer before treating her fans to another rendition of her soulfully poised R&B Hip Hop Pop.
