It’s not all that often that you stumble across an R&B Pop artist as soulful and stylised as Melanie George. The up and coming singer songwriter and musician has just released her latest single Eyes on You. Proving that she’s anything but a jack of all trades with her debut of electrically amplified Pop which resonates through her empoweringly soaring vocal approach. Her euphorically jazz-infused style mixes a touch of the timeless, yet the EDM beats that sit behind her soaring vocals bring the Jazz Soul Pop sound into a brand-new era. The beat packs enough momentum to make Eyes on You an overwhelmingly energised mix which is perfect to kick back to, as well as to hit the dancefloor to, which is pretty much the definition of the perfect Pop track.
