Pop duo Meghan & Caitlin have recently released their debut album “Bad Terms” and shared with the airwaves a masterful array of poignant contemporary ingenuity.
The title track is the perfect introduction to their Indie Pop style which offers a minefield of instrumental hooks which aren’t shy about pulling you into the moody yet vibrant Synth Pop arrangement.
Despite the mellifluous nature of Bad Terms, Meghan & Caitlin didn’t fail to throw in plenty of empowering attitude, which is just one of the reasons why the soundscape resonates as an infectious earworm from the very first hit.
If the future of Indie Pop lay in Meghan & Caitlin’s hands, it would be more than safe, Bad Terms feels like a natural progression on from the moody Pop which has been prolific in recent years. The duo has found a brand-new way to simultaneously feed you feel good hooks along with plenty of biting energy.
