“Lush” is the hypersonic Alt Indie Aural monster recently released by up and coming artist Kuwalla which any fans of the Kooks and the Strokes will definitely want to pay attention to.
With the driving instrumental momentum, anthemic chorus, and the magnetic draw of the vocals, there’s every chance that you’ll be just as enamoured by Kuwalla’s unique approach to Indie Rock as we were.
By borrowing a few elements from Post Punk such as Jah Wobble-style throbbing basslines and the angular guitar licks such as you will hear in Interpol’s tracks, the raucous Indie track came with a palpably distinctive edge. That edge, amongst a myriad of other factors, is sure to see Kuwalla ascend from the underground in no time at all.
