There’s melodicism, and there’s the mellifluous synth-infused alchemy which up and coming Alt Rock artist Kaprica have poured into their debut single “Play with Fire”.
The track allows the tentative progressions in the prelude and subsequent verses amp up the immersivity as the instrumental arrangement prepares to leave you arrested by the sheer momentum poured into the poised single.
Instead of allowing the soundscape to seamlessly evolve, with Play with Fire you’ll get a sudden shock of high-octane Rock and you’ll get to hear the raw power of Alex Tower’s vocals which forcibly shift into Thrash Metal style wails. Then there’s the riffs, my god the riffs, if Tool played like Kaprica, I could understand what all the hype was about.
