Kaleo Sansaa’s latest single Purple Moon is truly in a league of its own with the blissfully decadent layers that the track intricately weaves through. Artists supplying what Kaleo has to offer are in seriously short supply; the German based artist has an overwhelmingly passionate approach to minimalistic trap which is beyond anything I have heard in 2018. Purple Moon is one of those effervescently poignant tracks which offer just as much substance in between the notes as within them. Kaleo Sansaa’s deeply experimental styling becomes palpable through her use of multi-lingual vocals in which she offers some sweet catharsis through embracing her roots that bleed into her sound. The aura which Kaleo harnesses and ultimately projects through her music is resounding, there are so many indications within Purple Moon that Kaleo is one of the most enlightened artists on the scene today.
