It’s always unnerving to listen to one of your favourite tracks remixed, yet, when I checked out JuWe’s remix of ‘Lift Me from the Ground’ (San Holo), it was clear that the up and coming producer has a perceptibly fresh style and an undeniable ability to pour euphoria over an already infectious beat.
JuWe took all of the brash polyphonic sound from San Holo’s original mix and replaced it with swathes of reverb-heavy effect to reconstruct the mix with a throbbing yet light House bassline and pumping even more high-octane energy to the track. The lyrical hooks sink their aural teeth in just as succinctly and you can expect the drops to resonate even more than they did in the original version.
You can check out JuWe’s remix out or yourself which was released on September 8th for yourself by heading over to SoundCloud now. Make sure to check out some of his original beats too.
