Trap may not be the first genre which comes to mind when you’re looking for additions to your chilled-out playlists. Yet, up and coming Rochester, US-based Trap Pop artist Justyce’s debut single “Distance” brings a whole new level of ambience to the scene. The melodic pacing of the track received pitch perfect production to ensure that the cathartic vibe of the drum pads and synth carries through to your speakers. While in parts the lyricism behind Distance came across as slightly simplistic with the end rhyme placements sounding a little forced, there’s still a great flow behind the mix which allows Justyce to prove his potential as an up and coming Trap Pop artist.
