Whilst the up & coming Hip Hop artist Jerome Green’s latest track HVW8 J is a little slow to start, it’s definitely worth the perseverance once you get to the first verse. That’s how long it takes for you to realise that Jerome Green is a rap artist with a difference, he’s a rap artist with passion, with soul, with rhythmic style and more importantly with a potent amount of charisma. In the concluding verses the lyricism drives Jerome Green’s latest single into some pretty dark arena’s but the palpable enthusiasm behind his bars continue to uplift you right the way through the Trap style track which flows with minimal repetition. The Jazz elements to the track stand as testament to Jerome Green’s experimentally elemental style, whilst his thundering passion pour through the lyrics the Jazz samples trickle into the background to keep you awash with blissful waves of resonance.
With a slightly extended track at just over 5 minutes long it was easy to get sucked into the momentous narrative of Jerome Green’s latest track. You can check HVW8 out for yourselves over on SoundCloud.
