Armed with plenty of lyrical flex, Jay. O stepped to the mix to produce his fieriest single yet “Lately” produced by Stavz.
The Jazz-infused Hip Hop beat plays ode to the roots of the genre, yet with Jay. O’s lyrical flair, it’s easy to hear that his sound is fresh enough to be appreciated in the contemporary charts. Despite the downtempo of the single, there’s still plenty of bite and energy weaved into the mix which progressively switches up to add to the immersivity.
Yet, what really sets Jay. O apart from the other US Hip Hop Rap artists is the absolute ingenuity he puts behind his bars, with minimal repetition and plenty of syllables per line it’s hard to disconnect yourself from the resounding command his lyrical flow possesses.
