It’s been a while since up and coming Hip Hop artist J-Geezy dropped his latest single “Burn That”, after checking it out, I can only hope that he will return to the studio to create yet another bomb drop.
The mid-tempo beats played plenty of odes to the roots of Hip Hop whilst adding contemporary kicks and effects to bring Hip Hop into a new era. The artist’s playfully experimental style won’t fail to leave you hooked once the momentum to the track truly builds. Burn That may have had a shaky start with the prelude, yet, once it kicks into full verse you’re treated to an immersive EDM Trap mix with J-Geezy’s flawless rhythmic rap verses.
