“Little Italy” is the upcoming track from Alt Rock duo Tough on Fridays, and with a riff-style reminiscent to what we came to perpetually adore from Iggy’s iconic track “the Passenger” you can be sure that you’ll find the same infectious rhythm. Yet, vocally and lyrically Tough on Fridays set themselves apart with their infectious take on Pop Rock.
Their ability to orchestrate sticky-sweet choruses definitely shouldn’t be underestimated. They may borrow inspiration from artists such as Paramore and Green Day, but the Georgetown Texas duo has managed to fuse a contemporary resonance within their style. It’s been a while since we’ve been this excited by a Pop Rock artist, but Little Italy is all the proof that you need that Tough on Fridays isn’t your average up and coming duo. Their sense of passion is palpable in their sound, and there’s nothing more refreshing than that.
You can check out Little Italy for yourselves, and their earlier released singles via Spotify.
