Do you remember when new Alt Rock tracks still possessed a powerful emotive pull? If the nostalgia of that is enough to get you a little bit excited, we’ve got some awesome news for you; as the glory days of the early 00s have been revived and reimagined by the Italian Alt Synth-Rock trio Hypergear. Any fans of Asking Alexandria, A Day to Remember, and Parkway Drive shouldn’t hang around checking out the massive choruses and biting energy which is found in Hypergear’s stunningly high-octane 2019 single “Buzz”.
Even though Hypergear only formed in 2018, their tracks already exude the stylistic maturity of a band much further on from their inception. Structurally, Buzz is perfection, the track follows an incredibly tentative pace allowing plenty of momentum to build up right before the sweet spot when the euphoric chorus breaks.
You can check out Hypergear’s single Buzz out for yourselves by heading over to Spotify now.
