Gucci Boy’s latest Trap track “Company” is much like their former releases. The up and coming artist seems to be in the habit of creating rhythmically evocative contemporary Hip Hop by incorporating elements of Trap but still keeping the conviction and soul which is found in Old School Hip Hop.
The vocal effects allow the R&B-infused vocals to sit in perfect synergy with the downtempo hits on the 808s allowing Company to offer an immersive amount of melodious grind. If your vibe-out playlists are looking for fresh additions, it doesn’t come much fresher than this.
