Taken off their recently released captivating new eleven-track album called ‘To that place you call home‘, Roam Like Ghosts bring us a wonderful new single that makes you ‘Disappear‘ on the road and never doubt your decision.
Alt-rock/folk duo Roam Like Ghosts are a Virginia and North Carolina-based outfit who consist of singer/songwriter, Mathew Daugherty and guitarist/songwriter, Bucky Fairfax. They make that honest and soulful music about real stories of love and loss, life and death, hope and fear, while taking the curious listener on an authentic ride of emotion and truth.
With profoundly eloquent vocals that seep into your mind and make you imagine taking a trip away with that special human in your life, to hearing such intricately meshed guitar sequences that make you gasp in excitement, this is a truly fine song with so much to like inside its caring core.
‘Disappear‘ from the gripping alt-folk duo Roam Like Ghosts, is a wonderfully portrayed story about making that spur of the moment decision to just get away and clear the head for a while. We all crave that jumping into the car rush, turning up the music and exploring new towns, as this is the way to live and to be truly happy. With this current horrific pandemic house-locking so many folks all over the world, this is a terrific track that be inspired by as there will be plenty travelling going on when this is all over.
Being with that special someone who lifts your spirits and galvanizes you into action is one of the best feelings in the world. Life is meant to be packed-full of spontaneous adventures to keep that soul alive after all.
Hear this energizing single on Bandcamp and see their travels on IG.
