Ride Out is just one of the sensational tracks from the Up and Coming Urban recording artist GAK’s latest EP ‘We All Gon Cry’. His unique mix of R&B and Hip Hop proves to be an aural alchemy which allows hype to flood this high-vibe, viscerally energised beat.
I can’t tell you how refreshing is to hear an actual bassline to a track, the pop and grind of the bass added a hypnotic amount of groove into the mix. Lyrically Ride Out could have been slightly more inventive and packed a little more substance, yet aside from that, it’s hard to fault the track due to the amount of charisma which is poured into the mix through the vocals. GAK is an artist with the ability to perfectly balance soul and groove, and that’s definitely not something you’ll stumble across every day.
