Fyf Aaron’s latest single Feelin’ Down ft. Matt Niemann is right on the Trap curve, so it wouldn’t be any surprise if New School Hip Hop fans wanted to devour his refreshingly honest mix.
The Bahamas-based artist’s expressive lyrical style stands as testament to his natural lyrical command with minimal vocal effect which is infinitely refreshing to hear from the genre. His lyrics are matched with a seamlessly smooth beat with plenty of lush hooks and reverb pouring from the synth. My only advice would be to reign it in with the non-lexical vocals and hammer more poignant, raw lyricism into future tracks. Yet, it’s evident that the up and coming artist has a lot of commercial potential, I’m calling it, he’s definitely one to watch.
